Satisfying meals in Oldham

“This review will be updated with more photos eventually! Smashville Oldham is head and shoulders above the competition in the area. Using well seasoned prime mince and having some of the best chicken tenders around, there are many reasons to make a second order here. Initially, we bought the munch box, which comprises of a choice of two patties, two tacos, two tenders, a portion of chips, drinks and a waffle. I can't explain in words how good the box is, because each bit is as different and flavoursome as the last. The products in the pictures are a set of their seasoned tenders, Korean (spicy) tenders and a biscoff waffle. The chicken has a light batter that is crunchy to the taste and is smothered in Korean spicy sauce. Stronger than buffalo, it's something most people will find a comfortable level of heat. The review left here has to state that Just Eat are a shocking method to choose to buy food from these guys through. At no fault of their own, the Just Eat driver we had either ate or lost part of the order. Smashville went above and beyond to try and arrange a remedy on the day, but being a Friday it was busy and just not possible. They have however, made upon request, the missing elements of the order with some free additional tenders and a waffle to boot. I have genuinely never had a takeaway where the staff have been as polite or gone above and beyond to fix an issue that wasn't even their fault. We will be returning to Smashville and I encourage you to do the same. Screw Just Eat.”

“'La Sensationale' Me and my partner have just been for the 1st time, and had a meal on a Saturday evening (6.00pm sitting). The place was packed when we walked in, so we thought that must be a good sign!? All courses were GORGEOUS and the portion sizes, although at first appearance seemed rather small, were actually just right! All staff that served us were lovely; very friendly and polite, which helped to make our visit feel extra special... This included the manageress who clearly runs a very well controlled operation as empty tables were cleared, cleaned and reset in a very fast and efficient manner! The place remained packed throughout our 2 hour stay, and we will definitely be returning very soon! A SPECIAL THANKS GOES TO MAGDALENA, WHO PROVIDED EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE THROUGHOUT!! A Kelly's ice cream on a nice cone was £3. There are toilets too. Parking can be difficult on weekends but we've never struggled in the week”

“I went with my mum a few weeks ago and it was our first time going since it changed from Kitty's. While I noticed some things were different the important stuff was the same. The food was great, the service was lovely, and in typical fashion we were so full we needed to take the rest home! The cakes are, as always, incredible and you can tell a lot of effort went into them!”

“This place has certainly become my go-to option on Uber Eats. Always some decent promotions going on with some food items on half the price. I must say I am always impressed with the packaging and quantity of food. The containers are absolutely loaded up to the brim, and the food is delicious. There are lots of options to choose from from the menu. I love the concept of 3 different gravies on a portion of rice, with each bite having a different taste to it. I have ordered about 4 times already, and I am always craving for more. Their chapatis are bang on. Can't fault much about them, to be honest. If suggestions are asked for, then perhaps they need to improve on their delivery times. Can take up to 100 minutes on a Friday. Also, might also need to hold off on the extra layer of oil added on every portion . It makes the food slightly oily and less clean. Love from barkwell lane”
