“2023: Shoes wear out, so back again. Same staff, same great service! Once again, no hard sell, lots of shoes came out, running on the treadmill, comparing two shoes at the same time. You really feel like they want the best for your feet. They also stock a large collection of running apparell, so a one stop shop. Free parking is available from the superstore up the road, so you can get your shop get your shoes, job done! Great experience shopping for running shoes, assisted by staff that actually enjoy running. Whilst my wife was being helped, I was able to watch three other ladies being attended to, each was treated as an individual, with quite different requirements and all left with running shoes they had tried, compared and had had informed detail on each one. The prices of the shoes were in the end all around the same mark, not cheap but not stupid prices and what actually mattered was they were suitable for her running style, the running surface, her personal gait and lastly a style she liked. Worth the money rather than wasted money.”

The service I received was amazing and I got my order way before the given time frame! The clothes are as shown on the website and the lady behind it all was of great help as I needed to match a Kurta to some trousers. I just have to give 5 stars! “Texture release treatment. I am so blown away by Marianne professionalism, kindness and knowledge. I was so nervous about doing a Texture release as this was the first time I've done this on my hair. I booked an appointment and then spoke to Marianne. She was so understanding and even encouraged me to take time to think about it. I finally made my mind up. I am so glad I did. The salon is beautiful , welcoming, a great atmosphere with massage chairs for hair wash. Marianne explained the treatment and steps and gave me so many tips to look after my hair. “I had the best time at the Christmas wreath workshop run by Hannah at Whitworth Locke! The atmosphere was so warm and welcoming, and Hannah made the whole process easy to follow. The selection of greenery and decorations was fantastic, and with Hannah’s guidance, I managed to create a wreath that I’m genuinely proud of—it’s gorgeous and already hanging on my door! It was such a fun, festive activity and a great way to get into the Christmas spirit. Highly recommend this workshop to anyone looking for a creative and joyful experience this season!”

“I've been wanting to get pierced here for a long time now, and they did not disappoint!! Marcus changed my daith out a few weeks ago and was very knowledgeable and gave me great advice to help with my inflammation. Kitty pierced my seconds and thirds today and did an amazing job! I will definitely be coming back for more piercings in the future. Also, the whole front desk team did a great job helping me pick out my jewellery and even gave me a discount since I bought so many! I highly recommend coming here if you need some high-quality piercings from a friendly team!”

“Beautiful. Located in the quaint town of Uppermill, this chic cafe bar is a faithful spinoff of one of Uppermill’s best cafes, Caffe Grande Abaco. This cafe bar has a nice rustic and authentic atmosphere, like a traditional cafe bar you may find in Italy. Also, the staff are really friendly (10/10), especially Nigel (the owner), who was great to me. Plus, I went to Caffe Grande Abaco for 10 years, and it was quite emotional to meet Nigel, as I was always asking the staff at Caffe Grande Abaco, “Is the owner in?”. Now, back to Veloce! The cafe offers a variety of drinks, handpicked from CGA (at this point, I’m going to shorten it - Caffe Grande Abaco). So, you can have a nice latte or a cosy hot chocolate while you chill and warm up here. Surprisingly, it is also a deli, since they have charcuterie meats and cheeses, condiments, authentic Mediterranean pastries and biscuits, and even freshly baked bread (so authentic!). I tried Rogers Pistachio Cruffin (mix between a croissant and a muffin) which was crispy and flaky on the outside, but fluffy and indulgent on the inside, and the silky pistachio cream made it even better. Perfect for breakfast! They also do sandwiches here, with fresh sourdough and scrumptious meats and cheeses and even flaky sausage rolls. What I really want to mention, however, is the fact that they are supporting local businesses. Most things here (the pastries, products and even honey) are made by small businesses in towns near Uppermill, which is really nice as Veloce is helping out those businesses. Overall, this place is a must if you are looking for a proper Italian cafe bar, and some delicious food. It is also perfect if you want to buy some charcuterie meats and cheeses, as they have a wide variety of them. Only complaint is, Veloce really needs to bring in some Arancini, as I don’t see much Arancini in Saddleworth, and I’m very sad about that.
