“Popped in here after a walk with the dog in bramhall park, we sat outside with the dog and they invited us to sit inside. Very friendly and the food was delicious. Vinnie the dog enjoyed a couple of sausages as well, will definitely be back again”

“We have got used to the Sunday roast here, a quality of food and presentation far exceeding a pub meal. So last night we joined friends for a Christmas dinner. A full traditional Christmas meal was presented, thick slices of turkey, pigs in blankets, toasties, parsnips, carrots and a smooth dark gravy. This was a Christmas dinner to remember, absolutely spot on. Many thanks.”

“Visited Romulus last night for the first time and the food was absolutely beautiful.. the nicest Italian I have ever had. I had the minestrone soup which was delicious followed by pan fried breaded chicken with tomato spaghetti on the side and my god it was to die for… also this was on the set menu 2 courses I think it was like £19 each…The staff are so nice they can’t do enough for you and also really funny. We had a ball in there last night. Will defo be back. Can’t recommend enough.”

“Best soup I’ve ever had!! Cosy tucked away hidden gem. I ordered the Tomato soup and Cajun chicken ciabatta. Portion sizes were big & value for money was amazing. The staff are very friendly & kind. Will 100% be coming again. The hot chocolate with marshmallows is soooo good.”

“Ordered 2 kebabs at 18.10. Didn’t come until 19.45 but didn’t realise how bad the weather was until I opened the door. Felt for the driver. Good size portions, donner was lovely. Chicken was a little dry and would prefer salad and sauce to be put on kebab rather than have to do it ourselves but small things. Used Naga a lot and tonight hasn’t put me off.”

“They’ve started doing burger deliveries and the burgers are fantastic! Think 5 guys meets GBK. I got a double Eminem burger, it came slightly pink in the middle...just how I like it. I’ll be satisfying all my burger cravings from here for now on! Chips were also nice, draught beer vacation was lovely. I’ll give the halloumi fries a miss next time they weren’t great - my only complaint”

“I have Visited Etherow County Park and Cafe with a close friend, we walked around and did some sightseeing and taking in the breathtaking views, Summer Sun and fresh air. Its a lovely place to walk, relax and escape from the world. The cafe was a lovely place as well. With good views, great value for money on food and drinks. Definitely would visit again.”

“Exceptional taste. For the 30 minutes I was there and eating the food, I didn't miss Pakistan at all. What a delicious Lamb boneless Karahi & Chargha! If the chef was a female, I would have offered to marry her just so I could have this food at breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Grateful to the owners of Daawat restaurant for offering pure desi taste in England. Wish they can open a branch near Manchester University so I can eat even more often. “Spoilt for choice in Bramhall for eateries, and having never tried the Nook and Broom before, the family and I thought we'd give it a go. The verdict was unanimous. A great choice of family friendly seating areas, all well lit. A number of small unobtrusive TV's for those who go to watch sports. The food. Oh my goodness the food! Great value and all very well prepared and served in good time. My personal favourite was the 1kg chicken wing sharer. So much so my son and I went back a few days later to take advantage of 'wing Wednesday' 40p per wing (the wings are a good size too) in the sauce of your choice. Then, spotting the breakfast menu had to go back next day to sample the £7 Big Breakfast (see pic). A great spread for seven quid and all done to [my] perfection. Finally, the friendly and attentive staff. Cheers Leon and Olivia for topping off the experience with your professional and welcoming nature. Highly recommend this place for all the above reasons. “Couldn’t fault the service! Recently bought a sofa and a dining table with chairs from here. Paul the salesman was very knowledgable on all products and tended to all my requirements. The delivery team was amazing, quick & hassle free on a date that suited me. I’ve recently been back to order a wardrobe as I was so happy with everything. Would definitely recommend!”

“Had an excellent stay. The bedroom was very spacious with a very comfortable bed. The bathroom was great with thick towels. We enjoyed a fabulous meal in the restaurant with great service and a superb breakfast the following morning. All the staff were very lovely, helpful and friendly.”
