“This is a nice neat supermarket with its own car park at the front. There is a good selection here despite not being very big. I've found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. I haven't been served by grumpy ladies as others have mentioned but I find that people respond well to a friendly greeting and not so well to a grumpy customer.”

“The lady who helped us today, can’t fault her customer service at all. Went above and beyond today to help us with a Deliveroo order and really cheered my mum up. Forgot her name now, but cannot fault her at all. Wish everyone was as lovely as she was :-) x”

“Never had any issues in this shop! I know all the staff & all the bosses ! They are decent people any issues they will try to resolve if they can't they will state this but customers expect them to solve it there and then ! For example I brought cheese ... it was in date but unfortunately when i opened it well lets say grated cheese was dust cheese but it got sorted and the others were all removed straight away out the fridge ... The young lad that use to work there has to be by far the funniest person who's ever worked in that shop, he is young he likes to just be his happy chappy self but most moaned about him but he is now in a bigger store as he was working down here not so long ago ! The locals are always in there chatting away if it isn't busy ! The shop is always smelling fresh and clean ! Boss man is a decent guy he will ask for ID but some don't like that but that's his job as they would go mad if he was serving under age items he shouldn't so I feel some people just nit pick when it comes to the ID part ! Kids go to a secondary school next to the shop and so many have tried they're luck with VAPES and Energy drinks and even I have said she is old enough I'm a regular he didn't take my word he still said no not till you come back with ID ! so the ID part is bang on in that shop ! Anyways I give this shop 10/10 compared to what it was like 20 years ago! Always dirty and the shop keeper use to hit kids with bats ! So massive upgrade from back then !”

“Really friendly staff both at the Post Office and the store. The cashier helped me when I needed and even offered to lend me a pen to help me. They are always watching the queue, opening more checkouts if needed.”

“Clean store with a large reduction fridge. Self-serving checkouts and manned checkouts. Trolleys kept just inside the door by the disabled bay that makes it disabled friendly. Busy store with a wide range of products. Hot coffee and hot pastrys are available next to self-service checkouts”

“Popped in on the off-chance they had anything 50 years old for a golden wedding anniversary gift and came out with a 1972 armagnac. Nice chat too with the helpful owner who'd tried it and enjoyed it. Hadn't been in before but will certainly return - great place for getting a special bottle.”

“I normally purchase wine at the supermarket but was fed up with the lack of knowledge and never finding a red wine I liked. I found Cadman Fine Wines online and called up. They were able to go through wines they thought I would like based on my budget. I ordered and have now found my perfect red wine which I wouldn’t have found if it wasn’t for Cadman Fine Wines. Have been a loyal customer for over a year now.”
