“The more I visit this mini-market the more I like it. Occasionally, I stand outside and wait for it to open. I wait in eager anticipation for the sequence of events to commence. Lights are switched on, steel shutters are raised just like a portcullis in a castle. At the appointed hour the door is unlocked and the lady with the broom commences her daily chores. Her movements as she sweeps with her partner, the broom, is, a delight not to be missed. O the elegance and delicate movement is beguiling. Once inside one finds the shelves well stocked with quality merchandise; the aisles are relatively spacious, unlike a similar mini-market, in Rowell. As the hours pass, it gets very busy. And at the checkouts one is greeted by the most friendly, helpful, knowledgeable and superlative checkout assistants one could wish to meet. Finally, there is ample free car parking behind this wonderful emporium. Strongly recommended.”

Sam is a member of staff that sticks out to me she is always so friendly and always asks how me and my baby are. She also always asks if I have a membership card, unlike other colleagues that I have been served by before! Such a lovely lady!”

“This is a nice neat supermarket with its own car park at the front. There is a good selection here despite not being very big. I've found the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. I haven't been served by grumpy ladies as others have mentioned but I find that people respond well to a friendly greeting and not so well to a grumpy customer.”

“Never had any issues in this shop! I know all the staff & all the bosses ! They are decent people any issues they will try to resolve if they can't they will state this but customers expect them to solve it there and then ! For example I brought cheese ... it was in date but unfortunately when i opened it well lets say grated cheese was dust cheese but it got sorted and the others were all removed straight away out the fridge ... The young lad that use to work there has to be by far the funniest person who's ever worked in that shop, he is young he likes to just be his happy chappy self but most moaned about him but he is now in a bigger store as he was working down here not so long ago ! The locals are always in there chatting away if it isn't busy ! The shop is always smelling fresh and clean ! Boss man is a decent guy he will ask for ID but some don't like that but that's his job as they would go mad if he was serving under age items he shouldn't so I feel some people just nit pick when it comes to the ID part ! Kids go to a secondary school next to the shop and so many have tried they're luck with VAPES and Energy drinks and even I have said she is old enough I'm a regular he didn't take my word he still said no not till you come back with ID ! so the ID part is bang on in that shop ! Anyways I give this shop 10/10 compared to what it was like 20 years ago! Always dirty and the shop keeper use to hit kids with bats ! So massive upgrade from back then !”
