“Lindsey was absolutely key to my recovery from a wrist fracture. She assessed, encouraged and understood my problems and the anatomical difficulties. Throughout treatment she was positive and clinically skilled demonstrating this through a very ‘hands on’ approach. I was relieved to be able to trust my rehabilitation throughout the process and would be happy to recommend both her and the clinic.”
“Good burger meals from bar, was nice venue for a bowling birthday party that my youngest son was invited to. Large car park and not too difficult to find. Friendly staff.”

“I have been visiting Proactive Therapies for many years now, with a variety of minor joint and muscle issues. I had seen both Heidi and Stephanie and always received an excellent service which has quickly solved the relevant issues. Recently I suffered an injury which after a visit to both A&E and GP was put down to a muscle spasm. However whilst suffering discomfort, I decided to visit Heidi to see what she could do to help. Very quickly she said she thought it was a slipped disc. I then sort out a consultant and arranged an MRI which confirmed Heidi’s diagnosis. This has led to a more efficient treatment plan and recovery. Can’t recommend highly enough.”

“Excellent service from Vires Velo, successfully achieving the rare combination of a professional and friendly approach. I have bought two bicycles here in the last few years and enjoyed the same enjoyable experience both times.”
“Multiple pools operating, gym good size and plenty of equipment. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Nice modern facility.”
“I recently visited with a Wellhub pass and Rachael was amazing at getting my membership set up, as well as walking me through how to use the facilities. Her patience and kindness really helped me to feel comfortable at the gym. I also really enjoyed the layout of the weights area - plenty of machines and availability.”
“I use the Olympic-size swimming pool here, which is excellent and well maintained. At £6.70 a session, it’s perhaps on the pricier side, but the facilities are very good. My main gripe, however, is not with the venue but with some pool users. Please stop wearing perfume (or strong scents) in the pool. It’s unpleasant to smell and even taste while swimming. There’s a reason we’re asked to shower thoroughly before entering, it keeps the water clean and comfortable for everyone. I’d love to see this rule enforced more strictly. A gentle reminder from staff could make a big difference to the experience for all swimmers.”

“I have been seeing Claire for 13 years now and I would not hesitate in strongly recommending her to everyone and anyone who needs physiotherapy. Claire listens carefully and then evaluates what is best for you in terms of treatment. She keeps up-to-date with the profession and is kind, caring and extraordinarily professional. Claire also runs Clinical Pilates classes (face-to-face and online) which again I have been attending for 13 years. Quite simply, she is a terrific physiotherapist and a wonderful Clinical Pilates instructor!”
“Scott is endlessly patient and helpful.”
“Very affordable sport center. Nice and clean pool and jacuzzi. Also 2 sauna rooms: wet and dry hot air. Aquafit and aqua Zumba are really nice. Liked very much the classes here: body balance, body pump, body attack, yoga, cycle classes etc. Nice and helpful staff. Oh, and they also have swimming classes for children and of course a gym.”
