I would recommend calling in if you need something and are in the area. The parking can be an issue at certain times of the day but there you could just park a little further away and walk there. “The corner shop at my mum's street at the very end, it's a family run place Anita the matriarch of the family is normally front of house though they all put together is a real team effort,I It's a proper community spirited shop, the range of products never ceases to amaze me!! hlHow they keep the range current try new things and are never scared to sort of .... branch out with them more obscure products, not knowing if they're going to sell, For example the massive dill pickle range!!?? I've got all of the range of pickles, if course now in my belly haha, Their American I Import range is so reasonably priced, as is everything else, but these are about quarters of the price of the shop that will be closest to me, which would be the garage at Warmsworth.... has an American range and I think about £5.99 each pickle!!!! in this lovely family shop the same product are now priced at just 1 pound each. They're very helpful, very friendly the only thing is I miss having the cash machine but they did used to do a cash back service it cost you 50p or if buying anytime was free, every time I've asked recently, I must say however Iit hasn't been the metriarch and I don't know this new family member, she says they no longer do cash back so unfortunately I now don't walk along for my mum's, I drive past it to go to the new heron at the corner where I can get my cash for free l. I would rather walk along with my dog getting her extra exercise and me going to the local shop. supporting a family local small independent business but I need cash for certain things everyday, and just the way that the people I'm helping my mother and someone else are housebound and from an olde generation so it's got to be in cash, they don't trust a card payment that's the case for people that age, ( the obviously can't see it being card and cash back I wouldn't like to blow their mind completely hehe) Unfortunately it means I drive past this shop that I love so much and forget to go back to it because when I go around to the bottom of the street around the corner it's not just the new lHeron there, it's a LOT OF different shops, I would rather use this shop as I used to do all the time maybe the family will see this and take it on board because it's not just me who has tried to get cash back or hope that they've got the machine on again I was very happy when they stopped plugging it in honestly prefer the cash back, don't know the reason why haven't had a chance to ask, I find a new family member , a female who has been front of house majority of time erm how to say this ..... not quite as approachable as all of the rest of the family? mean every single member is so friendly and approachable I don't know if she's in-law I think the matriarch said it was a daughter but I've met your daughters and the sun for many years before, but anyway I'm going to leave a nice review up to know and it is my genuine thoughts and feelings, You might want to look at that and he said she's very abrupt and refused to put my lottery ticket through it 7 15 , she said I was too late!!! once again I drove from there around the next corner to the spar, and I then spent £40 on shopping as well as my lottery ticket ... I would recommend this shop highly to anyone for any groceries alcohol soft drinks range of cakes cleaning products pet foods and treats I could go on you wouldn't believe how much great things they can fit into the small space and it is in no way cluttered they keep it immaculate highly recommended”

“This shop is very local to us and we go at least a couple of times a week. Staff are helpful and there are often bargains to be had. The 5 for £5 frozen bundles are particularly good value for money with your membership card.”

“I was a little bit dubious about it being a motorway hotel, and i was wrong. The hotel was bright and airy, the staff on reception were warm and welcoming. The rooms were clean and the beds were comfy and clean. There was a bath and shower Coffee and tea were available. The hotel was close enough to the services to have a walk there. I had taken the wrong charger for my phone. The receptionist was very helpful and let me borrow a charger. I didn't get her name but she was amazing. The hotel was busy but was quiet. Breakfast was available to purchase from the services. Thank you for a lovely stay. Highly recommended.”

“I've just removed my last post wich wasn't great. Over the last year you have made so many excellent improvements at the checkouts of self service. And lots more around the store. Well done to you all. And I can not stay away when you have shoulder of lamb at £6.50 a kilo, im fed up off leg only being discounted when the shoulder is more flavorful. We needed the tires pumping up on his new bike for him to open the next morning but discovered the air pump at the garage was faulty. Natasha tried to make it work but then went and got her own pump from her car. Thank you Natasha for helping making my son’s birthday a special one.”
