“This is one of those hidden gems that you will probably have passed a hundred times. One of those shops that specialises so completely that anything you didn't even know you wanted is here. I wanted acrylic eggshell paint to repaint kitchen cabinets and spent hours going to all the big DIY stores. Then I spent 20 minutes in this paint shop getting exactly what I wanted in 20 minutes for much less. They are open 7.30am to 5pm weekdays, and I think 8am to noon Saturday. You can park in their yard or in front, it looks like a house but the shop is round the back. The staff are very helpful and complete experts. And you will note that most of the other customers will be professional painters and decorators. They should have an area that's better lit, possibly with a daylight lamp, for viewing the mass of colour charts with subtle variation in tones. I promise you that you will benefit from the traditional expertise and value.”
