βGot taken into AMU for tests. There was a wait but the nurse Christina was the most caring and kind nurse, and put me completely at ease. Everything was fully explained and the examinations were very thorough. Thank you Christina xβ
βAfter calling at Doncaster A&E and facing a waiting room crammed full and a waiting time of four hours or more I rang the Doncaster Same Day Heath Centre from home and was offered an appointment fours hours later. The place was spotless and the staff very helpful. The doctor I saw was also most helpful and placed an electronic prescription which I was able to pick up from my preferred pharmacy almost straight away. All this when over the May Day Bank Holiday weekend when my GP was shut for two and a half days. An excellent service.β
βexcellent customer service and kind tenderhearted compassionate people that are very concerned about everyone that come through their doorsβ

βSaw a nurse called βJudy or Judithβ (absolutely no offence meant) and what a knowledgable, kind, thorough, understanding and empowering woman she isβ¦ she reassured me, answered all my questions in detail and made me feel listened to..I had no idea what to expect on my visit but she made me feel so cared for I wanted to say a huge thank you. The building itself was light, bright, clean and modernβ¦ nice waiting area and friendly staff, they have their own carpark which was full (although not sure where all the people were!?!?) parking was available in the street so no problem.. The whole experience from referral to being seen was seemless. Thanks guys!β
βLooking at previous reviews I feel I need to write a review to try and balance things up. I have had to visit the surgery a few times over the past couple of years and I honestly can't fault the service I've received. Yes, it's difficult to get an appointment but talking to friends and relatives this seems to be a common theme throughout GP surgeries and not just this one. I fear this is just a reflection on the NHS as a whole and not the individual surgeries. Every doctor I've seen has been patient, understanding and helpful and I've come away reassured that everything that could be done has been done. Obviously other people out there may have had bad experiences but I can honestly say that all my visits have been extremely positive.β
