He instantly put her at ease, immediately identified a few things she needed to put right and helped her perfect the parallel park. She went into the next test with complete confidence and carried out a perfect parallel park. She doesn’t think she would have passed without those few hours with Josh. He helped tidy everything up with little hints and tips and clear, step by step instructions that stuck in her head. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for an instructor.”

“At last! A proper pub with proper beer, where you can have a proper conversation without intrusive TV screens and not given over to diners rather than drinkers. The Shrewsbury Arms has been completely and tastefully redecorated, with William Morris pattern wallpapers throughout. We (two couples) went on a Wednesday evening where a generous selection of cheese, pate and salami + biscuits was available - all free! There were plenty of customers there, although like many 'wet' pubs I can imagine it could be pretty quiet at times. We thoroughly enjoyed it and will be back. PS: Did I mention that the beer was excellent? I can recommend Pig On The Wall... Edit: Typo”

Food served here too, good enough for the price. Busier at weekends. Always a good place to start a night out. Surprisingly the toilets are on ground level and not half a mile away.”
