   This is a fantastic little pub. A real gem. It is well worth visiting. I haven't been going for very long, but the staff and regulars have made me feel most welcome. Nothing is too much for the staff. One of the barmaids, Maria, hasn't been there long, but has settled in very well. Always has a big smile.

   I must say, since the refurbishment's the whole atmosphere of the Red Lion has improved dramatically. New members of staff, and in particularly Maria/Jaki, pleased to help. Always a warm welcome, nothing is too much trouble. In the nicest possible way, old school service. The attitude of some of the older members of the team is greatly improved. Pleasure to visit.

   We visited The Red Lion in Knowle for a quiz night and had a really enjoyable evening. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. The quiz itself was well-run and added a brilliant touch to the night. We ordered drinks which were reasonably priced and served quickly. I tried a dessert afterwards – it was okay but could have been better, not quite as impressive as the rest of the experience. Overall though, it’s a great spot for a night out and definitely worth visiting.

   Table not set for enough people that we booked for. App showed food out of stock when it was available at bar. Sunday lunch had poor vegetable selection. Fish and chips was only served with one fish when there should of been two. Extra pigs in blanket quantity served only 5 when there should of been 8.

   A good little pub situated in a lovely area. The drinks a food section is very good with great prices. Good size eating areas nice bar. Friendly staff. A little carpark at the back and a seating area also outside. Enjoy.

   The food was good, however my wife ordered scampi and chips as a main expecting there to be tartare sauce as on the menu but we were told there was none when the food was delivered. My wife was asked if she would prefer something else and chose the hunters chicken. we were both allowed to choose a sweet from the menu on the house. We should have been told about the lack of tartare sauce when ordering not when the food was served.

   Came in today Orders food and it was wrong took it back, came out chicken was pink, full of grease and dirty potatoes Staff was messy looked like an episode of shameless. Waitress wouldn’t leave us alone. The chef come out dirty and said my greasy chicken was chicken juices was not!! Not what I expected being in knowle
