   First time visiting today for our team get together and we were all impressed by the food and the venue but especially with the service. Unfortunately I didn't catch the woman's name who served us but she was so warm and welcoming and just waited on us hand and foot and it was absolutely astonishing service with a smile and a laugh. She looked after everyone wonderfully especially as it seemed that she was the only waitress for most of the hour or so that we were there so it made even more impressive. Will be highly recommending The Barn to friends and family.

   Cannot thank you enough!!!!! I had my baby shower here at the weekend, from the first moment that we organised it, Claire and Nigel were extremely accommodating and made me feel at ease. Their communication with myself whilst organising the event was second to none and it made the whole experience of organising an event easy. We did a pre-visit to the venue beforehand, whereby Claire gave up her time to meet with us personally and discuss details of the event. Nothing was too much trouble for her! From here, we discussed sandwich options for the afternoon tea and also layouts of the room due to me having a large number of guests. Claire listened to all of my wishes and took these on board, going above and beyond sending me possible options via text message. On the actual day, all of the staff were so accommodating and helped set up a beautiful baby shower. Every single member of staff was a joy to be around and made the event run incredibly smoothly. They even made my friend a special treat of Brie and cranberry sandwiches which I was sadly not able to order due to pregnancy, which showed how thoughtful and care went into planning our event. The venue and overall event was praised by all who came and guests frequently commented on how beautiful the venue and food were. Cannot recommend this venue enough to host an event like this, it is absolutely stunning with fantastic staff members who go above and beyond for all!!!

   Beautiful little cafe in a beautiful part of the world. Food was superb, all locally sourced and fresh! Baby friendly and nice relaxed atmosphere. Free parking and a fairy walk nearby for children or dog walkers. Highly recommended breakfast and very filling!!! :)

   Me and my wife dropped in for a fry up, we had the light breakfast £12 each and a pot of tea between us. The staff were just lovely and very attentive, they made us feel very welcome and the breakfast was beautiful, especially the sausage (think it was from packington) probably one of the best I've had. We will endeavour to visit again. The decor inside was splendid, you could spend the whole day there.

   I visit this cafe frequently and have always received excellent service and high-quality food. The staff are very friendly and make my experience exceptional. The main dishes and latte I have had were both excellent. The cafe is also beautifully decorated and has a welcoming atmosphere. I plan to return and highly recommend this cafe to anyone seeking a enjoyable meal and top-notch service.

   Would never go here again. Had a table for 4 at 12.30. Ordered 3 latte coffees, one juice cordial, 3 breakfasts and one burger with hallumi. We had bad feelings after waiting for 15 minutes and no drinks appearing. They finally arrived at 13.00 after sitting on the kitchen worktop for 10 minutes. The waitress served them holding the rim of the glass with her bare hands and heavily painted nails. They came without sugar although we ordered it. The waitress told us our meals would take a while because of the extra thick meat on the burger. In between time, we were amazed to see one of the staff happily occupying one of the tables to peal a large amount of pears. She did so in some kind of slow motion, not a care in the world. In fact, it seemed like none of them had. They all pottered around looking lost, dropping food on the floor and in general unprofessional. Finally, at 13.30 the first meal appeared on our table. It was the burger with hallumi. The beef was at least half the size the waitress described and soon after my daughter was in tears because she could not pick it up. The sauce looked like it had been thrown on and was running all down the bap and on the plate. She left half the meal. Our all day breakfasts finally arrived ( very appropriate wording here because you wait all day for them to arrive). My daughter works in a high class restaurant and she was gobsmacked at some of the things she witnessed both health and safety wise and customer care. All in all the meals were basic and we effectively paid £65 for low quality food and terrible service.

   I came a couple of weeks ago with a friend and had a fantastic experience at The Barn. Really smooth service and friendly and accommodating staff. I had an eggs benedict whilst my friend opted for a club sandwich - the all day breakfast is a great idea, there was so much choice! I will definitely be returning and would recommend.

   We visited on Easter Sunday after struggling to find anywhere that was open for breakfast. Upon arrival we were offered the option of sitting inside or out, so we sat out in the beautiful courtyard area. Service was prompt and the coffee was good. We had a full English and chorizo eggs Benedict. The food was sublime, well presented and good size portions for the price. We’ll absolutely be returning. Laura, the person that owns The Barn was lovely and has put a lot of effort into ensuring customers receive the best experience. Loved it!
