   If you think this chicken burger looks nice I invite you to come and eat at the crown , fyi I ordered a beef burger , but it’s oki the waitress asked me if everything was oki with the meal lol I said no it’s burnt to a cinder, that was 20 mins ago…. Haven’t heard anything since …….. I think there cooking food with napalm in the kitchen

   Breakfast with Santa - the children really enjoyed the visit with Santa he used their names straight away when speaking to them which was an added touch as they were surprised he knew them. We were a large party and had lots of changes to the food which they accommodated. All staff were friendly and helpful. Lovely atmosphere would come again.

   I popped in recently and was really impressed. The place has a relaxed, comfortable feel to it thanks to the new refurb, plenty of space to sit and a nice atmosphere as soon as you walk in. Rae behind the bar was great. Really friendly, quick with service and just made the order feel easy. The menu’s got all the proper pub classics and the food came out hot, tasted good and was decent value. They’ve got a solid range of beers and ales on tap too, so it’s a good spot whether you’re grabbing a bite to eat or just meeting up for a drink. All in all, The Crown is a proper, reliable local pub with good service and a nice vibe. I’d definitely go back.

   A wonderful establishment, fantastic service throughout. Staff very friendly, helpful and efficient. Food was delicious! I fully recommend the Fisherman's Catch and the Eton Mess Sundae!!! You made our 80th Birthday celebration very more special! Thank you to The Crown for making it a lovely memorable evening for my Dad. We will definitely be returning very soon xxx

   Sunday turkey roast was bland and tasteless. Wet turkey and mixed vegetables like rubber. No real ales. If I have to walk 15 minutes to my local pub and find there are no real ales at all, I probably won’t chance it again. Apart from the pleasant girl who served us, all the other staff appeared disinterested. When our plates were collected, there was no engagement. I’m sad because we thought the pub was turning itself around but doesn’t appear so.

   Very nice pub restaurant belonging to ember inns. Very well decorated and plenty of space between tables. Food very good although my sirloin steak was a bit chewy my husband said his ribeye was perfect Very good value at lunchtime on a limited menu 2 courses for £8.25

   My second visit, and rest assured I'll be back, it was surprisingly busy in fact a local asked if it was a two for one night! Service was polite and swift though they were unable to explain why food served was not the same as shown on the menu.

   So tried again to have a successful visit here …… pub was really empty considering it was a Friday night and hardly any real ales on. Very disappointed so headed to the Four Oaks. We think this pub needs a massive refurbishment ( similar to four oaks ) Yes prices would go up but it would be worth it Particularly as they have something the Four Oaks doesn’t - a massive car park !
