   This is an excellent place to go for that extra special meal / night . Its a little bit more expensive than your beefeater and harvester type food places but it is so worth it . Really nice food and and an absolutely lovely dining area , if I'm honest I don't go thete as often as I should . Had 2 starters and 2 mains , a pint of coke and 3 Moretti lagers for just over £80 ,worth every penny .

   My husband and i came here for a fabulous meal . The hostess was amazing her name was kerry she was very knowledgeable and welcoming . We will be back soon . The steaks was amazimg yummy . We had drinks . Starters and mains plus Also a dessert which was all eaten . Looking forward upon returning

   Lovely atmosphere we sat in the conservatory part of the pub and it was bar service. Food was absolutely amazing we tried the soup, calamari, garlic bread and the croquettes. I had the calamari and honestly it was beautiful it was nice thin and crispy but very flavourful. Although it’s the most expensive one the menu the beef brisket was the best I’ve ever had the beef was so soft and the parsnip puree complimented it perfectly. Judy the waitress had an amazing personality and nothing seemed too much for her. All the waitresses in the pub and the manager all seemed happy and worked very hard. Food was served very quick as well I was very impressed.

   Mothers day 3 course meal .Soup was so tasty and the bread ,roast beef dinner was the best I've ever tasted full of flavour just perfect .By the time I ate 2 course I just about managed the lovely Eton mess pudding. Well worth the £35 head .Our waitress was lovely and polite and even asked if all was OK with our meals .Excellent well run clean pub and decor was lovely ,especially the flamingo pictures .Top pub grub if you have not paid a visit there yet then its the place to go.

   Ten of us had lunch on Christmas Day and I could not fault the place. We had booked for 2.45 and our table was ready and waiting on arrival. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious and the service was first class. We have had less than satisfactory Xmas dinners in the past, but this one was worth every penny. Thank you and well done to all the staff who were on duty that day.

   Amazing food as always. My only complaint about this place is the carpark. Ever since I started going it's always had potholes. Very hard to navigate around them at present especially as I'm on crutches.

   A wonderful experience, first time my wife and myself have been for a meal, excellent food and service, staff were a credit to the proprietors, run with military precision, will certainly recommend to friends and family. It was our 40th Wedding Anniversary, a very special occasion for us, and the overall experience, was the icing on the cake. We will be booking just after Christmas, for the following Christmas Day Dinner Well done, and thank you for making our "Special Day", even better Larry Armstrong

   Pros: - Chicken Satay was Yum - Sunday Roast was really good Incredibly good in fact. I had the chicken. Vegetables were very tasty and presentation was nice. - Staff were friendly. - Environment was nice and clean. Cons: -We had our food in the bar area which yes was aware it wasn't the main restaurant but would have been nice for staff to at least bring you cutlery. Instead it was very self service for each course. - Desserts were limited and not the best. The profiteroles were a big let down. Was close to 4 stars just for the quality of the roast.
