Amazing pub, staff where friendly and approachable. Food was well presented and cooked to how we requested, The pub was clean and family friendly. Looking forward to another meal and would highly recommend.
First time here with a large family group. What a lovely pub! Warm, welcoming and plenty of parking spaces. The food was ordered at the bar all in one go for 20 of us and even though there wasn't many staff on, the food came out in good time, generous portions, all correct, hot and pretty much all at the same time which was excellent. We had an enjoyable night and would definitely return.
I had a great experience during my visit. The service was excellent — Helen looked after me and she was brilliant from start to finish. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming, she made the visit feel personal and relaxed. The food was really nice as well. Everything came out fresh. Combined with the great service, it made the whole visit feel really worth it. Would definitely recommend and will be coming back!
We had a table of 6 of us today for lunch. The pub was reasonably busy but seen quickly. We all had hot food which all came around the same time. My daughter and I had a burger and chips served by Paige, it was very nice, loved the chips too. Great atmosphere, will be back again.
Tried to go there for afternoon food for 2, and was told they weren't taking anymore walk-ins that day even though they clearly weren't that busy and wasn't even offered a seat in the bar section . Person had to come behind bar to attend us and then asked presumably the manager who was sitting at a table in restaurant area and who couldnt even be bothered to get up and explain in anymore detail . Will be a long time if ever that l go back there again
Called after refurb and ordered advised 45 to 60 mins. Also told full but tables by us were not occupied in the 2 hours there.Whilst decor was in need of makeover which is good, food service needs to vastly improve as sizzling steaks did not sizzle and lukewarm. Hopefully will get over reopening teething problems. Bar staff are still efficient
Two nights in a row visits and it was good, friendly staff, warm welcome and value for your money. Pubs a bit tired but there’s an imminent refurb on way. Hope to see this pub doing well in the future.
Booked table for 7:30, arrived ordered starters and mains. Food came out promptly and was really nice went to order puddings at 8:30 to be told that the kitchen was closed at 7:30. There was another table that arrived at the same time and they were told also. Other than that food and drinks were good
It was loads better than the last time we went. The food is loads better. I had vegetarian option and last time the burger tasted like cardboard, but with the new menu the food is great. Its got a good variety and the staff were lovely and friendly.
