Had my dad's wake there. On the 17th/06/2025.food was lovely and the staff were amazing couldn't thank them enough
The staff here are always a pleasure. Nothing's too much trouble for them. They always make you feel welcome. It has a lovely relaxed atmosphere.
Popped in for an early lunch, a wonderful member of staff greeted me and I ordered a cask ale, she then gladly and happily explained all the offers of the day and served me with a genuine smile and chrippy attitude. The food coming out smelt and looked great and the atmosphere in the pub was lovely. Great beer, great food and great staff. Will definitely be going back and taking friends.
Lovely "local" pub. Staff are great, food is excellent & very reasonably priced, and there's always a couple of well kept ales on. Definitely worth a visit.

The looks u get from the regulars in here make u feel very uncomfortable. Its a very clicky pub and it's like they have never seen a person of colour before. Staff were ok but not that friendly tbh food was disgusting but maybe because they were looking for kitchen staff. NEVER LEFT A BAD REVIEW BEFORE BUT FEEL THE NEED TO WITH THIS PLACE
Very clean. Nice staff. Can accommodate events for births and receptions/wakes for funerals. Two separate car parks, but the bays in the smaller car park aren't very big.
Staff are beyond lovely and accommodating. I'm vegan and quite picky about textures so I tend to be the headache of the party. But they are always so nice, helpful, and understanding. I've had their vegan pie once and their vegan burger twice. I prefer the burger but I'd be happy to see their vegan menu expand in the future. I tried their vegan ice cream as well but it was much too sweet for me.
