Just called in by chance and both had the chicken, ham and leek pie. We had the lunchtime offer of two meals for £20. Absolutely smashing home made pie and friendly service - would definitely recommend

Looking at the reviews this pub has mixed reviews. I've never been here before but it's lovely, nice staff, amazing food, we had the gammon and corned beef pie and puddings to take home as we were stuffed. If you want a nice , clean pub with lovely food then this is it. Good choice of beers too. There's a car park opposite. Really dog friendly.

Lunch of Champions:- We were looking for a stop on a long car journey from Yorkshire to London down the M1 & trusted the reviews. Just a ten minute detour off the motorway and we weren’t disappointed, the place is clean and tidy and clearly benefits from a recent refurb. The staff were friendly, as were other customers. food tasted great. Where else can you get a roast on a Monday! The kids meals were great portions too, with quality ingredients. 5* in it’s weight class. Well done to them. Wish i was local and i would have tried the beer!

Went for Sunday lunch. I've been meaning to try it out and wasn't disappointed. I had the beef cheeks (special of the day) which were melt in the mouth. The portions are very generous with a separate boat of gravy to go with the mushroom and ale sauce it came with. The service was top notch and the beer (Thornbridge Jaipur) was just the right pint to go with the meal. My partner had the turkey roast with a glass of red which she really enjoyed. We will visit again. Can't recommend highly enough. I'd suggest phoning in advance since we had the choice of getting there in 10 or waiting until after 3 to eat.

Found The three horseshoes by pure luck. So glad we did. The menu is well put together and it should be noted that the vegan and vegetarian options are equivalent in choice to the standard options, this is refreshing and highly valued. We chose from the lunch menu which was any 2 for £16 and the food we received was excellent. Staff are friendly, courteous. Great choice of drinks at the bar. Clean and traditional feel with a nod to the modern. Love it, great pub! If your in the area seek it out.

The worst steak I’ve ever had! I asked for a medium rare ribeye and got a dry, overdone steak with no seasoning. The best thing about the meal was the Pepsi max.
