Fantastic experience. Food was exceptional. Service, especially from Grace and Poppy, was first class. Decor was lovely, as was the atmosphere. My second visit here, and hopefully won't be the last. We sat upstairs in the restaurant and we were made to feel very welcomed. Great selection of food on the menu. Very pleasant evening
Always a pleasure to visit the Hunlocke Arms. My partner was celebrating the wonders that make me, me! This place never disappoints. It's where finesse meets casual. It's beautiful sakura (cherry blossom) compliments the service you receive at this establishment. I'd recommend travelling to wingerworth to visit. Indi was excellent and looked after us, thanks lovely.
Had our 17th Anniversary meal here and it was amazing,both had a Pit Burger. One of the best burgers I've tasted. Emily our server was so lovely, thank you ⭐️ the table next to us had an issue with their pizza and although this was unfortunate it seemed to be dealt with really quickly and the waitress was very sympathetic.
Out first time visiting in over a year. Came for a Birthday/anniversary meal as a family. Food was really good and really big portion sizes for the price! Booked in advance to sit up in the orchard room as its much quieter so I'd recommend that!
It is a very big venue, have been here twice so far. We've been outside which is very nice, very nice touch to offer blankets to keep you warm outside if get cold. We've also been inside and the decoration is amazing upstairs in the cherry blossom room. Had different courses each time and been very satisfied with both, personally think the pizza was the best, it is large so won't go hungry and the bases are really good. Also offer a large selection of good drinks which are unique and some come with sorbet which is a nice touch. Also would say the app you can use to order and see the good on offer is very good, one of the better apps I've used for ordering food. Happy to recommend coming here!
Fantastic looking place, beautifully rustic inside with the upstairs having a blossom ceiling! The staff were attentive and friendly and our waitress was bonkers in a good way! Fantastic drinks menu and excellent food menu with massive portions, highly recommended
Drinks: 4/5 - Inventive and fun cocktails but really a quantity over quality situation here. On our last visit, multiple drinks were made wrong, didn't arrive or arrived up to 40 minutes after being ordered. Service 3/5 - The staff are pleasant and try hard are unfortunately let down by their numbers. The bar and restaurant could easily use 2x more staff or 3x more at busy times. Food 4/5 - Food is probably top 20% for one of these type of places, not bad but nothing amazing either.
Very good food, extensive drinks menu including some very cool cocktails. Children's meal portion size is amazing, would actually pass for an adult meal quite easily. Service is friendly also I will definitely be going back
Great place to go for a meal. We went as a big group of 6 adults and 2 children, we booked ahead and everything was great. We were seated upstairs which was gorgeous! The food was really good and you can take your leftovers home. Great selection of cocktails, variety of flavours and all great for photos! We really like this pub chain. The staff were all lovely too.
