   Interesting food menu with pretty decent prices although quality isn't always amazing. Good selection of beers, lagers and IPAs. Quirky decor with plenty of hidden private nooks to slip away into. Food service isn't the best at times.

   Nice atmosphere but the selection of ales and beers was a little small and the roast wasn’t that great. I ordered roast pork and got 2 tiny slices of pork, two potatoes and dry mash. More stalk than broccoli which was slightly on the turn. (See image) Nice yorkshire pud though!. Just to add my partner only had one slice of pork so the nice waitress delivered some more saying “we normally give 3”. Not today it seems.

   Fantastic traditional.pub really nice star great selection drinks and Hales lovely pub grub in the town centre I enjoyed the drink I enjoyed the atmosphere I enjoyed the music I will come again and I do recommend this place they call it nice and fresh tidy and clean toilet clean and tidy and hygienic protection measures all in all a nice place to go and visit.

   Oddly decorated with a mixture of styles gives this place an olde-eccentric look. With good Craft beers and good food, you can't go wrong here. Excellent service from the staff. Win-win!
