Food was horrible. We ordered 2 jacket potatoes, they had no filling, the coleslaw was just slapped onto the plate which made the food all soggy. The salad was just all leaves. The menu is also over complicated and should have some simple foods on too, not much variety at all. Had a 40 minute wait on food when the cafe was empty because they are short staffed. Really disappointing. The staff were great but the menu and food is awful.

Unfortunately had a really unpleasant experience here. Itβs a massive shame as my family and I used to love this place. However has taken a massive downturn for the past few visits, and our most recent trip has confirmed this. We ordered some coffee and cakes at a more quiet time of the afternoon service. We were waiting a good 25 minutes, before we asked the staff where our drinks were, and they had completely forgotten our order. Even after we intially brought this up, they still did not bring us the order, and completely forgotten about us. It was only after we attempted to leave that the staff told us to stay and they would give us a discount. The cakes were nothing to write home about, and the way we were treated as customers was appalling. Will unfortunately not be coming back

While the staff were lovely the food was extremely poor. The chips were under cooked, the batter on the fish was soft and tasteless, the mushy peas were soup. The chicken and veg pie once the pastry lid was removed was a watery tasteless mess. The quiche was overcooked and the skinny chips were dripping in fat. Overall we wouldnβt go back or recommend this restaurant.

Pie was decent but would like to pour my own gravy as chips went soggy quickly

We came here with our Grandma for a Sunday roast and it was amazing! It was really busy but the service was quite quick, very scenic view too. Canβt recommend the roast more it was delicious!! One of the best Sunday roasts Iβve had!

Had lunch here pre COVID and the food was really good however went a couple of weeks ago and we were bitterly disappointed. The service and the staff were excellent I have to say, really friendly and polite. I ordered the roast beef dish and asked if the sauce came separately which I was told it would come in a small jug. It didn't. The whole dish was swimming in a branch sauce which was way too sweet and just didn't compliment the beef at all. The Yorkshire pudding was filled with red cabbage or something which want nice at all and the beef was overcooked. My wife ordered chicken and pesto but what arrived looked more like a chicken Bolognese and didn't taste great at all. Really feels like they're trying too hard to make the food restaurant quality rather than focusing on just delivering really good, tasty, simple dishes. Won't be back.

I used to love having lunch here with my friends but since the second lock down it's changed. I suspect there's a different chef because the food is no where near as good. There's less choice, especially for vegetarians, and the prices have increased considerably. I've been three times since it reopened, in the hope there had been an improvement. Sadly I will not be going again.

The never ending redevelopment goes on. There was no easy path from the car park to the entrance. There also where no signs indicating the safe route. Internally it has become a maze as a disabled person this is very off putting. The young man who served us in the restaurant was wonderful and the food was good. We have been regular visitors for many years but I fear this will be our last visit.

We travelled specially to the restaurant for lunch, as my daughter and son in law raved about the changes to both the restaurant and the menu. We were definitely not disappointed. The food was excellent, large portions and perfectly cooked. The menu outclasses many 5 star restaurants we have eaten in before. This is our new 'go to place to eat'. Looking forward to the Christmas season when we'll be descending on masse for lunch. We were really delighted with the new updates to the restaurant. The decor is relaxing and comfortable with outside comfy seating for people who like the sun. Whoever decided these changes were needed, well done. Not a sign of the usual garden centre 'coronation chicken spud', thank God.

Fabulous food. Really great after the new update. Thank god they've moved away from limp sandwiches, paninis, and the usual garden centre snackery. The food is restaurant a la carte standard, very very tasty. Been about 6 times now. Trying to work our way through the lush food. The update to the decor is relaxing and comfy. The head chef is very attentive and easy to talk to. Looking forward to the Christmas menu now. Well done Warbreck for making the garden centre experience a Million times better.
