   Have been many times since they were first open. A friend made a booking for 6 people for a Christmas celebration which included myself. My friend was contacted close to the time of the meal and was told that it was cancelled as they were not very busy that night . No apology or compensation in the way of a discount or complimentary drink for a future booking. Shocking lack of customer service.

   Paid £20 deposit, £10 per head. Did not know deposit was taken when booked online. Deposit not taken off bill. Would not have realised but for my friend going day before and said to check. How many people have paid deposit and not been taken off bill. Food lovely, service slow.

   Thursday night is steak night at the Old Stables. Great value for money, two rump steaks and a bottle of wine for £40 Upgrade to fillet or tomahawk for a little bit extra. Steaks and service were top notch , I would order the peppercorn sauce next time as I found the red wine jus a little bit salty .

   We arrived for mother's day cream tea, booked , my daughter had been stressed she had booked the wrong day!!! It would of been so easy for them to have said not our problem you booked the wrong day etc , my daughter was so embarrassed, Demi was wonderful, so calm, sorted us to have our cream teas in the sports bar . Don't underate the sports bar it is warm large and airy ,perfect. Every member of staff were fantastic I had a wonderful mother's day THANK YOU all

   Went today for Mothers Day breakfast. My daughters porridge was bland,the place inside was spotless and clean toilets, disability friendly opening doors. The people who checked us in were friendly and polite. We had a discrepancy with our bill after paying by card, we were charged for extra coffee, latte & fresh orange juices.

   I was there with 3 friends. Few itens where missing from the menu. Overall, it is a very good quality of food. I would like to go back and review it with more details. Yes, i do recommend for an afternoon tea, a romantic dinner and a celebration if I may.

   Great place to sit outside, with covered tables and outdoor heaters. Staff are friendly, food is good! Indoors eating also available now; as we visited on a warm day the front of the restaurant was open for fresh air.
