   No matter how small or big my order is, the service at this Turkish restaurant is always warm and welcoming. Each visit feels like stepping straight into the Eminönü quarter of Istanbul — familiar, vibrant, and full of flavor. The shish is consistently excellent, tender and perfectly seasoned, and the lentil soup is one of the best I’ve had, rich and comforting. A true gem that captures the spirit and taste of Istanbul and saves me from work deadline stress.

   Just had a frustrating day at QPR so took my son and his family for a meal before I travelled home. This is a great kebab place where we have had take away before this time we sat in , we were sat upstairs which was empty at the time as we were only late afternoon. The staff are very friendly and the flood was tasty. Between us we had mixed and chicken kebab and some wraps.

   This place had a very poor customer service, they are rude while seving the costumers, the portions are very very small while they charge you for large portions. The food is cold, it doesn't feel fresh and they speak in Turkish while laughing at each other when service the costumers. Proper crockes. Avoid these place. There is a better and tasty Turkish restaurant in Hammersmith, king street.

   Came in on Christmas Eve, not expecting anything particularly incredible. But the customer service provided to me by Abdul was exactly what should be expected at every restaurant. The food was delivered in a timely fashion with no issue whatsoever. The atmosphere was something I'd want to come back to again. I'd highly recommend this place to everybody who wants to have good food and have top quality service in a lovely environment. Compliments to the chef.

   This is my first time trying Lara, just outside of Turnham Green station. This establishment has been around since 1965 and serves up some great Turkish food. Between the two of us, we shared the cold mezze platter for two and a mixed grill. The perfect amount for two people. Great dips and nicely cooked meats. A very nice and easy Turkish meal in Chiswick!

   Exceed all expectations! Outstanding taste, fresh, hot and delicious! We have ordered food to be delivered for our wedding)) we have never been in the Lara before, just followed Google reviews. We met owner who helped us to plan the menu within our tight budget. All guests and us had great dinner. THANK YOU, Muammer for specially prepared chorba and dessert. Definitely recommend!

1. Will 1 ★★★☆☆

   £12 for a large Donner Kebab. Not very large portion. Just slapped the salad on, not great salad... meat was better than average. Overall more of a £10 kebab rather than £12. They were very busy, but you could take more than 20 seconds to put my food together with a little care. See picture of how unappealing it looked when I opened it up at home.

   More of a canteen late night place, but has a sit down area upstairs which is really nice. There were 5 of us and we didn't realise how big the portions were. Talk about generous! But everything tasted great! We ended up buying platter after platter and were truly stuffed at the end. But the food is excellent and the server was really charming. Not expensive either so if in the mood for something really tasty and not too bothered about decor and atmosphere (as it wasn't busy) then it is worth it.

   Great little Turkish restaurant. Not the kind of place where the humus and baklava is out of a packet. Everything is homemade and served with pride and care. I usually get a takeaway but I would also recommend have a lunch here on the weekend. Their upstairs seating area looks out onto the park and is nice and cozy.
