“Farooq has done our kitchen, bar, boot room and utility. He and the team have been brilliant from start to finish. We had a complicated build project and he kept calm and flexible throughout, despite chaos on site. We are a year on and so happy with the result, it’s exceeded our expectations. So glad I walked into the village showroom that day and let Farooq take care of everything. Nothing was too much trouble, he made the experience enjoyable and inclusive, we recommend him to everyone.”

“Not had fish and chips for years. Looked up where to go as my son requested a bday treat while keeping up his lent restrictions. Our meals were all very good, especially the size and batter on the fish. Was crispy, not wet or stodgy at all. The owner Sam was very friendly, welcoming and went out of his way to accommodate us. He even threw in extra chips and a really lovely fresh salad for free. My mum was fascinated by how clean the shop was too. Would definitely visit again and recommend to others. All over great experience from start to finish!!”

“Had an absolutely fantastic meal here this evening. Food was delicious, perfectly cooked and nicely presented. The service was second to none and we felt truly at home despite it being our first visit (of many, no doubt!). We were especially impressed with how friendly and welcoming the staff were and our 18 month old absolutely loved it there. Our waiter went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed! As other reviews have mentioned, the front of the restaurant doesn't do the place justice. If you're wondering what it's like, just go and try it, you won't be disappointed!!”

“This is an excellent place to get food catered. I ordered biryani and some starters - chicken 65 and veg samosas - for a party I hosted. Brother Musthafa and his staff did an excellent job. Everything was packaged well and the food was very good. He was easy to work with. Will be ordering again soon.”

“Went there for my wife's birthday dinner and we were so happy with tasty food and excellent service. Drinks from the bar took a while to prepare so eventually we ordered different drinks but other than that everything went well. Happy wife and kids.”

“Staying locally for work at the local studios. We found Paolo's on Google. Arrived, seen to very quickly. Lovely young lad serving us (Elli - shout out). The owner and his wife were in the restaurant. Very friendly, chatty, polite, courteous, accommodating and overall lovely. We had beers and wine to drink - no complaints, all good. Now on to the main subject matter: the food. Very good. Well above average. Recommendable. We are from London, so have eaten at many Italian restaurants. Paolo's is in the top 3 I can think of. What we had as outstanding, furthermore. We will likely go back again tonight. The bill was £130 for numerous starters, mains, sides and alcoholic drinks. Like I said; no complaints. “AMAZING curry! We recently moved into the area and thought we would stop into Indian Fusion to grab a takeaway. The owner, Hakim, was so nice to us and gave us recommendations. Everything was so so so tasty. Hakim gave us some onion bhajis to try and they were incredible, especially with his homemade yoghurt sauce. The naan was fantastic and the curries were amazing. Next time we’ll try the korai curry as recommended by Hakim.”

“I visited Borough Market in June. With the wide selection of options of where to eat, I decided to try Iraqi food for the first time and seriously, it was some of the most delicious food I've had. The flavours are amazing, including the sauces (the mango chilli sauce is a must). I met the owner (Phil) while I was there, and he was a true gent, as well as the other chefs. Also, my wife is vegan, and she loved it too, especially the mushroom chap with the tamarind sauce. Needless to say, I highly recommend Juma Kitchen!”

“An outstanding evening meal for a family birthday. This is the second time I have eaten here and it really is superb. Beautifully decorated, with luxury touches. The menu is detailed so needs to be studied. The food is cooked and presented to perfection. Even the salad leaf, tossed in oil tastes amazing! We were a party of 5 and ate starters, mains, just 1 dessert and coffees. Everything we had was exceptional. The owner greets you like family and really makes the experience a special one. We visited on a Tuesday evening and the restaurant was busy.. this isn’t surprising considering the quality of food, service and ambience. One of the nicest local restaurants I have been to. Highly recommended.”

When choosing our kitchen, the designer Sam worked with us in a caring way and he was able to get the best out of the space. “Went in for breakfast, nice warm welcome from staff. Good choice of breakfast items and paninis. We ordered the nibbles and classic breakfasts and they didn't disappoint. Excellent quality and all cooked beautifully, really tasty. We loved the interior with the butchers counter and deli. Bought some items from the butcher who was so friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely return if in the area and would recommend.”

“The breakfast here is so delicious - the quality is absolutely top notch every time I go. All the food is genuinely so tasty - and there’s SO much variety that comes with the serpme breakfast (the spread) - including lovely Turkish tea. It’s genuinely my favourite spot for Turkish breakfast in London. It’s not too big a space which I really like as it feels more personal and cosy. All members of staff are really lovely and approachable. Also the value is great too. Overall, a wholly positive experience and I will keep going back!”

“Let me tell you all about our dinner. We had spent the entire day driving and put off eating until the last minute after checking into a terrible hostel in an otherwise nice neighborhood, and this restaurant was the only one that even smelled good while walking by. We had excellent table service, the man poured our waters, delivered leveled beers, served the appetizer sharing his favorite sauce recommendation, our dinner didn’t take long to come out either. Delicious lamb curry, side of rice, roti… unreal, delicious. They even made my food spicier as I wished. They even threw in a nice mint chocolate for our walk home. Love this place, wish I could come back often.”

The prawns on toast tasted absolutely amazing along side the fried chicken. This is my #1 place to go in Cheshunt at the moment and it’s one of the most authentic restaurants.”

Coffee and desserts were very good as well! Very nice atmosphere and decor inside and silent music from the speakers. One thing that owners could improve is the outside beer garden and perhaps signage could be refreshed. From the outside it doesn’t look as a restaurant ;) But overall definitely, I’ll come back again.”
