   Visited here today and the service at the bar was extremely slow, despite there being quite a few stay in. The lad who served me was very polite and friendly and I felt a bit sorry for him. We waited over an hour for scampi and chips and steak and a jacket potato and when it arrived as you can see it was disappointing to say the least even by average pub food standards

   Excellent pub food at a reasonable price. Food was cooked just right. Portion size was suitable for the type of meal. Excellent service and attention to making sure everything was OK.

   The staff we lovely but the food wasn't great. We both had flat breads, one southern fried chicken that was burnt and I had steak that was just fat no meat. A staff member could have asked us about our meal but didn't, I had to inform them, they said they would let the kitchen know but nothing was done. The fries and halloumi fries were lovely though.

   Myself and husband visited at lunch time on Friday - it was fairly busy, but the pub was tidy. We were told there was a 30 minute wait on the food, but we understood. I ordered the Korean beef rib (pictured below) with an extra side of Mac and cheese and my husband ordered the XL mixed grill, I thought my food was lovely, my husband said his steak was like rubber and was quite disappointed.

   Diabolic food microwaved Lukewarm rubbery extra small chicken skewer, didn't even come on hot plate as described in menu not all items that was meant to come with my dish was on my plate, small child's plate of food for an adult, rude male manager no offer of slight refund or any apologies for the appalling food. Never experienced anything like that in my whole life. Safe to say would rather eat at mcdonald's over the road.

   Popped across for evening meal, thankfully not busy. Got drinks sat down and chose food. Food came out hot and on the ball. One person even pushed a pudding, not me. Great service and well trained staff with the main thought for the customer.

   Waited 20mins just for our drinks. Steak was under cooked and fatty. Not good quality of food. Table's and menu's sticky and not very clean. Under staffed. Chain as really gone down hill. Very disappointed

   Me and my partner visited the pub today and even though we had unpleasant company on the table behind us they couldn't have been more wrong about the food or service which we thought was excellent and tasty. Will not hesitate in returning and recommending this establishment to family or friends Staff member involved in dealing with the unpleasant company dealt with it with grace and decorum
