   ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I brought my dad here for Sunday roast and mentioned when booking that he has hearing problems and can get overwhelmed due to Alzheimer’s. They put us in a quiet corner out the back, which was perfect. This is the first restaurant that truly went above and beyond to accommodate us, and they even checked whether it would help to turn down the nearby speaker. It was such a thoughtful gesture. All the staff were friendly, funny, and genuinely attentive without being overbearing. The food was insanely good, honestly the best roast I’ve had in ages, and the portions were incredible value for money. The decor is gorgeous too. Whoever chose the chairs, lamps, and little touches clearly has great taste. Such a warm, welcoming place, I can’t recommend it enough.

   We’ve been here a few times for brunch and had a birthday celebration in the snug. Thank you for giving me such a truly wonderful birthday celebration. Everything was organised to perfection. The canapés, roasts, and drinks! Absolutely divine. You’ve given me a beautiful memory I’ll always cherish — one seasoned perfectly with care, style, and a touch of magic. With heartfelt thanks (and a very happy heart). We also had a meal last night and the wild boar tagliatelle and the pumpkin risotto were the tastiest pasta dishes we’ve had in a long time. If you’re looking to organise a special occasion here, you’d be in the best hands with Tom

   Lovely indoor and outdoor space on a sunny Saturday. We walked in at 11:50am on a Saturday but it was pretty full by 12:30pm. I ordered the brisket focaccia off the brunch menu and whilst it was super flavourful it was unfortunately over salted. The service was a little inconsistent, so I had to find the server for the bill, but otherwise it was friendly. Price is very good with my brunch costing £14 inc service.

   Popped in for a quick spot of brunch on Saturday. The place has a nice ambience and the waiter was very friendly although it took a while for us to be acknowledged at the door. We ordered the short rib benedict, salmon royale and polenta chips to share, as well as a coffee each. The food came quickly and all of the dishes tasted great. Short rib benedict was packed with flavour with a good hit of spice from the nduja hollandaise, and the salmon royale had a good serving of salmon and a delicious black garlic aioli. The polenta fries were exceptional, served with a delicious miso mayo. The portions were quite small though, both dishes served with only a single poached egg neither of which had a runny yolk. I feel that SW16 Kitchen has the potential to compete with some of the really great bougie brunch places in South London, but getting a poached egg right needs to be top if the agenda! We did really enjoy the food but it is quite expensive, our bill came to over £40 in the end. Unfortunately SW16 has adopted the increasingly-common-in-London practice of adding on an automatic 12.5% service charge, which is a bit excessive for a 30 minute stop for brunch.

   Tldr; great atmosphere and live music, food wasn't great and lukewarm meal even after sending it back. I went here for a friend's birthday. The atmosphere was great, loved the set up and the really friendly staff. Disappointed by the food, the mini tacos are literally bite size but tasty, duck croquette was fine. The truffle carbonara wasn't warm enough for the cheese on top to melt even after I sent it back and there was a lot of fatty bits and not so much meat on the bacon. Other than that good night with love music.

   SW16 Bar and Kitchen roast is an absolute delight! I was in on Sunday and the weekly roast was porchetta. This comes with seasonal veg, carrots and a healthy portion of potatoes and gravy! The meal was truly as tasty as it looks in the photo. Also it was reasonably priced at £18.50 which includes a glass of wine! Highly recommend a visit, I will be back!
