   Last night my band (Toneacity Entertainment) provided entertainment for a wedding at The Manor. You could drive past this place and just mistake it for a nice looking pub. It would be your loss if you did! This place is incredible! The style and decor is stunning and the vibe is swanky as hell, and that’s just the restaurant. The actual wedding venue is gorgeous. I have played hundreds of venues and this is definitely a stand out venue. You would not expect it from the outside. The staff were so friendly, helpful and couldn’t have taken care of us any better. Thank you to Helen (head of events), you were a pleasure to meet and a pleasure to work with. We had some of the evening buffet, and the food was top notch. There was a nice spread and everything was delicious. This place is genuinely a rare and hidden gem and an incredible find if you are wanting to get married on the Wirral. I’m booking my next date night there.

   I visit this place every now and then, and the quality of the food never disappoints! The service is consistently excellent with friendly, attentive waiters who make you feel welcome. The atmosphere is cozy and charming, perfect for a relaxed meal. Highly recommend trying the traditional fish and chips, which are crispy on the outside, and tender on the inside. A great balance of flavor and texture! Always a satisfying choice.

   The newly renovated restaurant has been carried out to a high standard and is very pleasant. The food was of good quality although the menu was a little disappointing as the options are the same as all the other local gastro pubs, so nothing new. The portion sizes were the most disappointing part of the meal. Both of the men in the party ordered burgers one beef and one chicken. The chicken burger was half the size of the beef, the waitress even commented on it and returned to query with the chef. We were offered a free dessert which we accepted. My daughters chicken was minute and wouldn’t have fed a child. Desserts are a whopping £8 each, the sticky toffee pudding was so small I would have been embarrassed to serve it. Pizzas looked large as did the flatbreads. Food was delicious but they need to get the portion sizes sorted as it was not a cheap meal and some dishes are not value for money.

   We came for dinner last night. Venue is stunning, food was absolutely perfect. Service could've been a little better. Despite there being approximately 20 front of house staff working, we waited half an hour to pay our bill after asking twice. The only other little negative is the tables were very close together. Despite being tucked in close to our table, people were struggling to fit through the gap behind me. And also, when the waiter/waitress were serving the table next to us, thier backside was within sniffing distance.
