   Friendly and helpful service with well cooked, tasty food. From fish and chips to chicken biryani all is well worth the money. If you're going to the theatre, let them know and they will make sure you get your meal in good time.

   We usually really enjoy the food and service here, so we placed an online order at 5:14pm. Unfortunately we had to chase the store 2 times over the span of 2 hours as a driver could not be located to go up the hill. Our food was delivered at 7:10pm. We recognise Fridays are busy, however, waiting 2 hours for delivery is shockingly slow and we felt so hungry we lost our appetite. The cook did not care when I spoke with him on the phone and not even an apology for the wait. Sad to leave this review as me and my partner come here all the time.

   Popped into Time and Plaice for a quick bite and was genuinely impressed. The atmosphere is relaxed and welcoming, perfect for a casual meal with family or friends. We ordered a few drinks and their classic fish and chips — and honestly, it’s one of the best I’ve had locally. The batter was light and crispy, the fish beautifully fresh and flaky, and the chips were proper thick-cut and golden. Everything was cooked spot on. The staff were absolutely lovely — friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. I noticed their menu also features some Nepalese dishes, which looked really tempting. Will definitely be coming back to try those next time. A brilliant local spot that’s clearly run with care. Highly recommend.

   I had a fantastic experience at Time & Plaice in Dartford. The food was fresh, generously portioned, and perfectly cooked. The fish was crispy on the outside, flaky on the inside, and the chips were hot, golden, and not greasy at all. You can tell they take pride in the quality of what they serve. The staff were friendly, welcoming, and efficient, which made the whole visit even better. Service was quick even during busy times, and the shop was clean and well-kept. If you’re looking for a reliably great fish and chips spot in Dartford, Time & Plaice is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

   Superb plate of food - cod & chips, excellent service and my only gripe was the decor felt a little dated. I will definitely visit again and recommend it heartily to anyone visiting Dartford who is hungry.

   We was passing by and decided to try Time & Plaice. Pleasantly surprised by the experience, waitress was friendly and food was decent (think fish & chips, pie & mash). Only thing I didn't like was delivery drivers (deliveroo etc) passing through the eating area to collect orders.. Minor thing.
