The food at this restaurant is actually very good – fresh, tasty, and well-cooked. Unfortunately, all the staff members are rude and unprofessional. No matter how good the food is, people won’t come back if they are treated poorly. If they don’t change their behavior, they’ll start losing customers very quickly. Respect and good manners are the foundation of any successful business.
Fresh authentic food that was full of flavour and great prices. Would highly recommend the chicken tikka and biriyani.
Proper takeaway Tikka Masala! Since being away from the UK one of the things I craved was a hearty Chicken Tikka Masala, this place makes it just like I remembered. All cooked fresh and the chicken is cooked in a proper tandoor oven. Cash only.

Warning: CASH ONLY We ordered 3 set of Biryani’s: Food 5/10 They told us at the end that they take only cash and no card payments. There is no board saying that. We didn’t have any cash on us and the Pathan guy was extremely rude about the whole situation: said we shouldn’t come next time and kept mum king the whole time. His other colleague then gave us his bank details to transfer the money. Totally spilt our mood, not exactly the kind of behavior one expects from any one let alone at a place you go to buy something. Kindness and politeness above all. But even the food wasn’t the best: so not going there again.
Perfectly adequate lamb curry but onion bhaji was a joyless puck of dubious freshness. Service very much of the couldn’t-give-a-toss variety. Unforgivably in this day and age, they’re cash-only and to make matters worse there’s no sign to that effect, necessitating a last-minute nip to a nearby ATM. Seeing as I just don’t use cash any more and generally avoid cash-only businesses, in future would I go out of my way and withdraw cash just so I could fill up here? Sadly not.
As enjoyable as any of the East London named Punjabi kebab house’s / restaurants . Proper food for sensible money. Their chicken curry is consistently good! Don’t change if East Street becomes the next gentrification area ..

A very popular lunch spot located on the bustling East street, prices are very reasonable and the pre cooked dishes are reheated in pans. Channa Masala was very flavoursome and tasty, mine was cooked from fresh which took a little longer but it was certainly worth the wait. I came away with change for a fiver and that included a naan bread. Great little neighborhood spot
