Ordered takeaway Prawn fried rice Chicken fried noodles Asked for ‘hot’ (spicy) - not fulfilled; noodles drenched in soy sauce; both meals bland. Just a total waste of money. We live in Edinburgh in an area dominated by Chinese students and this ‘reataurant’ would be understandably empty.

really good to be honest caters for both those who want more English-chinese food, but holds its own at traditional food too

Surprise gem! Don't judge a book by it's cover. On the outside this looks like a bog standard takeaway but this little unassuming place serves some of the best Chinese food in York. You know the kind of fish & chip restaurant that has naff decor from the 70's but is always packed with pensioners because they serve a damn good fish & chips? This place is kinda the Chinese equivalent, it's stuffed with Chinese students, the decor/service is nothing to write home about and the concept of allergies & veterinarians/vegan is probably a little alien to them... but they serve damn good Chinese food.

Bad dining experience at this restaurant, with cash only payment added to horrible customer service and poor quality of food. There was a steel ball inside the dish “Grilled Sea Bass in Hot & Spicy Sauce” last time I went there for lunch——SCARY!!! (Also, the inpatient attitude from their manager made me uncomfortable)…

HORRIBLE! Horrible customer service and food safety issues. ***Deep fried chicken on the bone in dried chilli*** All Crushed bones, and very bad service attitude from the restaurant manager. The chicken dish was almost crushed bones with very little meat, which damaged one of my friends’ teeth. But they denied to admit their negligence with an arrogant attitude when we texted them for our unsatisfactory.

Excellent authentic Chinese food. This isn't exactly what you would expect for a UK Chinese and they serve up much more authentic fair here. No cash but you can pay using bank transfer. Servings are huge as well. My only complaint is that I wish the 地三鲜 had more eggplant and less potato. Still some of the best I have had outside China!
