Tried this place with my daughter, while I was in Liverpool. We started with the plain pretzel and it was authentic German and was delicious. Then I had the fish and chips, crunchy batter around soft fish. The chips were double fried and crunchy from the outside. Excellent find

Had dinner here a couple nights ago on 13/08/25, was served by Dorrie who was absolutely wonderful. I wanted to try some local beer that was on tap so I asked for her recommendations, she told us they have some beer on rotations that are not on the menu and brought us a small glass to try. The food was great as well, we had the Scotch eggs and pork knuckles which we couldn't even finish. Overall great service and great food.

Been here a few times, mainly for drinks but had a roast there last Sunday and it was absolutely fantastic, we couldn’t have been happier so I highly recommend. Midweek it’s nice for a quiet drink with a nice mood and lighting. Really good location and the price isn’t bad to be fair. Our roast with 2 drinks came to less than Β£40 which isn’t bad going especially when it’s in the heart of L1. Definitely be going back!

Fantastic atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door. Great, polite and prompt service from the staff. Live music whilst we were dining here. Food was outstanding.

Mixed feelings, food and drinks were amazing, tasted delicious and well presented but atmosphere wasn't really fitting for dinning like a special occasion date that we were on. The good bit: The food was delicious, we started off with pretzels, which were bigger than expected, hot and delicious, the accompanying mustard sauce was great as well. For mains we had the 'bohemian sausage plate' and the schweinshaxe. The sausages were really delicious and so was the sauce. The schweinshaxe, which is a roasted pork knuckle, was incredible. Be warned it is rather large but it's worth it, the meat is so tender and the crackling is perfect. Also we had to munich beers, which were really good. The bad bit: This is a restaurant and bar which we knew before going in, but we kinda expected it to feel separate, that wasn't really the case. About halfway through our meal, a group of about 16 lads sat on the table next to us, which was only for 8 people, notably knocking our drinks and food a few times while also being loud and intoxicated. In front of us a group of 8 tried to sit down with drinks, the management did ask them to move but that didn't stop the group hovering around our table and moving furniture for 5 minutes through our meal and accidentally elbowing my partner in the head on 2 occasions. I appreciate they told the 2nd group to move because people were eating around them, but why wasn't that applied to the 16 guys literally on top of us, and it was noticed as the bouncer came and had a word with the waitress about them. We decided to leave before dessert as it wasn't worth being crowded by drinkers. tl;dr: If you want to visit for good food, visit earlier or on a different day than we did, 8:30pm on a Saturday was clearly not a good idea. But the food and drinks are definitely worth visiting for. Or if you're visiting for drinks, clearly very welcoming with a large selection of beers available.

Lovely modern restaurant with German cuisine. Many choices of bratwurst and croquettes. Also offers burgers and schnitzel. Huge choice of German beers alongside a decent cocktail menu. Staff were friendly and approachable. Look forward to coming back.

Really friendly helpful service and great food. Love the German decor, the food was really tasty! They even played German rock music haha. We would definitely come back here! I liked that they even had some tasty vegetarian options and even a vegan wurst option! Highly recommend!!

This place a is a must for beer lovers! Huge selection to choose from on tap and in bottles. Nicely decorated with seats available around and open fire pit, perfect for cold nights. The food was excellent and very tasty. The roast beef was delicious. Only let down was that they had run out of a few menu items, for example the burgers, roast chicken and basic desert items. Friendly and attentive service, I’d recommend this place and definitely go back.
