   We stumbled on this place on the way back tonight to our holiday park. We went to see the crooked spire, and decided we needed to eat. And why not German food? We had the 3 starters for £16, and I had a spicy currywurst with sauerkraut, while my partner had the Weissfurter with coleslaw. I asked for my currywurst hot, and it didn't disappoint. If I was feeling evil I would have said "make me regret it" but I like to TASTE my food lol. The pretzel was delectable, although it could have done with being salted. The sweet mustard it came with was so good I wish I could take some back to Edinburgh with me. The sweet and spicy sausage bites were more sweet than spicy (luckily for my partner) and the chicken strips were... Chicken strips (our safe choice for my partner lol) The currywurst was AMAZING. Just the right amount of heat, the curry taste popping in between the chilli flakes that had been added. Best sauerkraut I've had in a long time! My partner says his Weissfurter was very tasty, and succulent, but the Jager sauce he ordered separately was a bit disappointing. He expected a bit more kick from it and not just a Diane sauce. But all in all it was a great meal, and the staff are very friendly and accommodating. We went out the back for some air because it's been VERY warm today, and the beer garden is so cute! There's even a pingpong table down the stairs!

   28-08-25 I really like Einstein's chesterfield (actually I like chesterfield in general) been twice in the past few months. Really friendly, welcoming staff, decent food, great beers. Both times I've had the goulash (beef and vegetable stew really - not authentic, but excellent nevertheless). Tip: have the sourdough toast buttered on the side Not sure if I'll ever be that way again but I'll miss it

   Brilliant bar and restaurant nice selection of food and drink with cocktails available as well.... prices slightly higher than I'd of liked but service was fast and friendly couldn't fault the sharing platter it was Very nice. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

   A very good bar with decent music on the sound system. Nathan was sociable and enthusiastic with his knowledge of the beers. I cannot say the same for the younger two females. Worth a try.
