Sunday dinner was delicious, hot and a very healthy portion size. The roasties were piping hot, crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside, just as they should be. The roast beef melted in the mouth, cooked to perfection and lots of it. Plus a huge yorkshire pud and lashings of gravy and a pile of smooth mash with some lovely not over-cooked carrot sticks and broccoli. Highly recommended!

Amazing food, highly recommend we came at a really busy period and I cannot fault anything. The cheese and onion pie was highly recommended and I can honestly say it was the best pie I’ve ever had. It was so flavoursome and the home made chips were cooked to perfection. My partner had the braised steak it it was so tender and the gravy was delicious! The mash was beautiful and creamy and nicely seasoned. Will definitely be back again soon!!!

We saw that The Sycamore in Ashton under Lyne we’re doing food again, this morning I saw a share on Facebook about Fish Friday. After going to a hospital appointment we decided to try it, we were not disappointed at all, both my husband and I had fish, chips and curry sauce. The fish was so tasty, batter very light not soggy and the curry sauce nice and fruity. The staff were very welcoming and we will definitely be going back. Thank you so much xxx

Visited the Sycamore today, which is under new management since Feb 2023. The staff were very pleasant and have a full menu on between 12-8pm. Drinks were fine and the snack I ordered was just right, look forward to trying a full meal on my return. Worth a visit, thanks Deb.

I came here for a meal. There are parking facilities at the rear for quite a few cars. The entrance is for all people. We were shown to a table. The staff are friendly and efficient. The menu is extensive, and the food is very good. Alcohol is served here. There are a number of beers and wines available. The food was hot and quick. The prices are competitive. I will definitely come again.
