The store is a bit outdated, but the prices are incredible, especially on the second floor. On Black Friday I bought Boss and Lacoste jumpers for £25 each and Lewis jeans for £15. There are great deals here even outside sales. Definitely my number one store.

I recently popped in and had a look around, some floors look better than others, but overall it's not a very welcoming place in which to shop. Many of the escalators were out of use and/or under repair. Price-wise, many clothes items are horrendously expensive, it put me off completely, not wonder people buy on e.g. ebay. Also, the Click & Collect in store service is available, however you still need to pay £4.99, like for home delivery, why?? Again, l was completely put off by this. The 3td floor (or maybe it's the top one) has plenty of clothes and shoes at discounted prices, but it looks very sad and ike an open air market. There used to be a café on one of the floors, which is now closed down. Also, no customers' toilets, l was advised to use the ones at McDonalds across the road ;(

I’d like to give a big shout-out to the two customer service ladies from House of Fraser second floor— Sue and Marv. When I needed to return items but needed more help, they went out of their way to help me track down the purchase details in the system using only the limited information I could provide. They were incredibly patient throughout the entire process, without a hint of blame or frustration. Their professionalism, experience, and the trust and support they showed made me feel both grateful and a bit guilty for the trouble I caused. Because of this experience, I’m sure I’ll shop here even more often — not just because of the good prices, but because excellent customer service from people like Sue and Marv truly puts customers at ease.

Horrible service by two staff and I got humiliated in front other customers. This isn't the first time I am shopping at this mall. I came here today to shop for Xmas gifts. I carried four big candles and they were too heavy so I put them in my bag whilst I kept going shopping and let my hands free to pick other products because I didnt see any of their bags or trolleys. Yes, It might be a bit of inconsiderate of me whilst put all the heavy stuff in my bag without thinking carefully. One question is if I am trying to steal, why did I put music on and walked very chills in the shop? One woman came to seriously asked me "Why did you put all the stuff in you bag" then asked a security came to chuck me out. Even I told them this is a misunderstanding and I was shopping for my Xmas gifts. They asked and forced me to go to the counter immediately to pay and three of them followed me closely in front of other guests acting like I am a thief. Instead of approaching to me in a polite way, they acted like I was stealing. Two of them literally attacked me by language and threatened me making me feel so scared and nervous. I was shocked and shaking. A security agressively asked me "How old are you? You've never shopped in the shopping mall and why you put candles in your bag" in front of everybody in this public place. They DIDN'T LISTEN TO ME OR GIVE ME ANY CHANCES TO SAY OR EXPLAIN. I completely got humilated and couldnt say a word by THOSE TWO STAFF. I have never been humilated this way in my life. I totally understand they were doing their jobs but they could have acted in a different way, not as agressive as today. Until now, I still feel awful and nervous. I also have talked to the guy at the counter who helped me with paying and the store manager. They were so lovely and tried to listen to me. Thank you. However when I came back at around 5:30pm, the manager came and raised her voice at me and my friend blaming everything on me. She claimed that because I put candles in my bag so her staff acted that way. She also said that because they faced another incident early today that made those two staff aggressively treated me that way. Although at the end she apologised and promised that she will talk to those two employees which I never know that whether it will happen or not. Still appreciate her efforts to listen. I dont rate this shop 1 start because of the whole company. I seriously gave this to those TWO STAFF who work in the shop on 03 November 2025 at approximately 2pm in the centre of Birmingham. I feel seriously humiliated, shocked, and almost cried in that shop. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. Being watched, forcing to pay, humilated with that kind of language by the male security and the female staff. If House of Fraser - Birmingham city centre branch can see this review, please train your staff properly. I hope those staff learn their lesson because you can completely destroy an innocent with your aggressive behaviours and attitude. Kind regards.

Looks abandoned slightly… also looks like the inside of those North Korean shops from documentaries. Kind of cool though just lowkey distopian as theres never anyone there. The escalators dont work the lights glitch its just weird

I had a lovely time in here. The place was becoming an outlet and in the throws of changing over but I got great service from a guy who was being made redundant. He was helpful, happy and quite exubriant! (he did have a new job he was going to and was very excited about that as it involved lots of travel!) I bought a rather delightful lipstick and case which both cost the same as if I bought the lippy on its own... Spoiled myself and had fun at the same time!

Lots of bargains 20% off plus sale price. But nothing like the posh House of Fraiser that I remember. It was more like a jumble sale. The staff were pleasant even though it was very cold inside.

A big store really big with to many big brands in it, offering a lot of opportunities to buy what you looking for, from fragrance to games including sport cloths or some for different occasions. I was surprising to see such a big store on Saturday at noon so empty. I think something should be changed in the future to make the store reliable to keep the business on. Probably a good idea it will be to get rid of 1-2 floors and reinvest a bit in remaining space to make it more attractive.

What a waste of time, on board it was written clearance on the 4th floor whereas the 4th floor was closed. The rest of the store had only 20% -30% off which is clearly not clearance, what a joke.

This used to be my favourite place to shop, very sad that high street shopping has come to this. I feel sorry my grandchildren will never experience the joy and atmosphere of shopping in a large retail store, we do our bit by using the high street and not amazon but alas I feel its too late.
