I don't understand why people are saying that they got food poisoning. I have very sensitive stomach since I had gastroenteritis a few years ago, and I never had problem in this place. I've been there at least 10 times as I often visited Camden in the past. The food is okay, not the best, but we were always satisfied and never had any cold food. For the price... it's a steal. They also offer unlimited drinks (just a few options) for Β£3,5. I only miss the soft serve machine that they had before. Staff really do have some manner issues, so I always pay quickly and sit down. It can get very busy during the evening and weekends. Don't expect fancy food, as it's just a buffet. The only thing that I never liked was their fries (be honest, everywhere you go, the fries get cold and soggy quickly, they're only nice fresh), but that's because those gets old quickly. They're also vegetarian friendly (multiple veggie options), and they even have salads, but be aware, due to the high volume of the customers, cross contamination CAN happen, due to customers lack of care.

Although all the tables were full, there was an imaginary reserved table. We stood for 20 minutes waiting for a table to become available. They didn't let us sit at that table. And it was empty until we left! The staff is rude and unfriendly. The old man, who I assume is the shop owner, doesn't speak English and doesn't want to communicate. Other than that, the food is just normal, just like the restaurants in Chinatown. This one is even more expensive.

Max Orient never disappoints! The moment you walk in, the aroma of freshly cooked dishes hits you β€” everything smells and tastes incredible. The buffet spread is huge and packed with variety β€” from crispy spring rolls and juicy dumplings to sizzling noodles, aromatic fried rice, and perfectly spiced stir-fries. The sushi section is surprisingly fresh, and the desserts are the perfect sweet ending. The staff are friendly, attentive, and always keep the trays full and tables spotless. The atmosphere is vibrant but comfortable, making it perfect for both family meals and casual dinners with friends. For the price, the value is unbeatable β€” you get restaurant-quality Chinese food with an all-you-can-eat experience. Highly recommend for anyone craving authentic flavours and a satisfying feast! Must-try: Salt & pepper chicken, beef in black bean sauce, and the honey chilli potatoes β€” absolute favourites!

The buffet selection was great and freshly made (while I was there several dishes were being set out). I was grateful for the salad bar but the drinks selection could be more varied as soft drinks (bottles or soda version) is a bit limited. Overall, the food tasted good and I ended up having two plates

Great value, eat as much as you like buffet. Great atmosphere - more like a pub/cafe than restaurant but this adds to the vibe of this place. Not 'fine dining' but a fun 'Camden feel' to it. Good salad bar and small range of desert (fruit, ice cream & basic cakes) included ! Not massive, but a big enough range of food options. Pork, duck & chicken plus veg options. Not spicy. All good quality food. Topped up regularly Bench style seating but comfy enough. Clean and tidy and staff clean/tidy quickly. Staff hard working and friendly. Pump soft drinks option with free re-fills Did not feel hurried to leave - some diners are quick others take their time. Definitely recommend

Chinese buffet near Camden market. All you can eat Chinese food for less than Β£15 per adult. They have decent, although limited, selection of food, soups, desserts, and fruits. Some of the dishes were great, while others were a little dry. Overall still a good value for the price. Do be careful if you have seafood allergy as some of the dishes have shrimps/seafood in it without labels

The restaurant opened at noon and there were already people waiting. The offer is quite varied and pleasant. The quality of the food is delicious. The price you pay for the food to the description is great as well as the amount charged for the drink to the description is excellent. The restaurant had a lot of people but there are plenty of tables and several tables for larger groups. I recommend this restaurant to those who like Chinese food. My wife and I liked it and we’ll go back to this restaurant.

With refillable drink it came to 15 pound each. which is still an alright price for London. I found the food to be quite cold and not much choice for deserts or mains and the ice cream machine is broke but if you are hungry and on a tight budget I do recommend this place. The chicken wings were lovley!!
