Albert's Schloss - A Game Changer! Normally when I’m on a city break, I try to find traditional, local places to eat—somewhere the locals go. I’m not usually into themed restaurants, especially the American-style ones. But while looking for places to eat in Liverpool on Google, I came across Albert’s Schloss... and I didn’t bother checking the next options. It really grabbed my attention. We originally booked for a Saturday sitting on 4th Oct, but Storm Amy got in the way, so we had to cancel. Still, I couldn’t get this place out of my mind, so we decided to give the Sunday lunch menu a go. We arrived without a booking, but the friendly staff found us a table with no fuss. We ordered the Schweinshaxe (roasted pork knuckle) and the half roast chicken dinner. The portion sizes? Generous is an understatement! Both meals were hearty and absolutely delicious. The Schweinshaxe went down perfectly with a delicious German beer, and the roast chicken was paired with a Spritz. As someone who usually avoids themed bars and restaurants, Albert’s Schloss has changed my mind. Our waitress was fantastic, helpful, knowledgeable, and chatty without being intrusive. The staff, the food, the drinks, the place itself, everything was brilliant. And the entertainment? The DJ couldn’t have been born before 2000 but clearly had an 80s heart. His set was spot on. This was my first visit to Liverpool in 15 years and my first to Albert’s Schloss, but it definitely won’t be the last. Food and hospitality at its very best.

Went here for work Christmas meal. The venue has high ceilings and beautiful interior, sophisticated, classy yet strangely cosy at the same time. Apparently they play alot of live events and have a lot of entertainment to offer. The food was amazing, drinks were well presented and the staff are extremely well trained and friendly. The toilets have a lot of character and themed and there is wheelchair access with lifts.

I just had a fantastic night out! Kirri was absolutely incredible and really made the experience special with her attentiveness. The food and drinks were top-notch, and everything was spotlessly clean. I felt well taken care of, from the warm greetings to the friendly farewell. Can't wait to return for more fun and great service!

Such a lovely and lively place. Especially when they have the live singers on in the evenings. Friendly and timely bar service. The food is also lovely and if your not happy with anything they change it straight away. Such a random thing to review but the toilets are really nice too. I won’t ruin it for anyone who hasn’t been but just give them a visit when you go!

Very impressive place, great atmosphere, nice food and drink. The venue itself is fantastic, lovely decor. Even the toilets are impressive. The DJ was brilliant, I loved the music. Visited on Monday night and it was busy. Great vibe

Went for lunch and it was delicious. The restaurant was a bit too hot for me, having said that if the weather was colder than 7 degrees it probably would have been quite nice by the fire, although I was expecting a real wood fire but I’m picky ;) the food was amazing, the restaurant is clean and given that they’ve only recently opened - the staff were lovely, thank you Lauren our waitress. The atmosphere is nice and lunch time at 12 was busy so I’m glad I booked. They had changing facilities for my baby but I’d recommend getting a proper nappy bin for hygiene reasons. I think it would be a great date night in the evening when the entertainment is on stage. Would also like to try the Hanover Street one. Forgot to take photos but I had the paprikash chicken and the truffle mash was delicious - definitely the nicest part of the meal. Also had goats cheese tart - but think I’d go more adventurous next time!! He had the pork knuckle which was huge. Thank you!

By chance I walked past the restaurant on opening day and saw the name and the live music. As German I was travelling with my English colleague, we found the name (that's the name of our boss) and style (German) interesting and we wanted to go in. At the door we were told that today is the opening day and only invited guests were allowed. We said "too bad" and explained why we would like to go in. We were asked to wait for a second and then we were allowed to go in. We got some coupons for a free drink. Salvatore took us to the bar and told us that there was no food today. When we told him we were hungry, he still made it possible for us to have a fresh pretzel with butter and mustard free of charge from the kitchen. The atmosphere, ambience and staff was great. As we were about to leave, we were given a couple of coasters from Albert's castle for my boss. It's a shame that I don't have a restaurant like this where I live. I will definitely be back for another visit to Liverpool.

Great service, food, drinks and music. They took our peanut allergy very seriously. Service can be slow but it is to be expected with a jam packed place.
