Had a great experience here! Staff were so lovely and attentive, food came out quick despite being busy (we didn’t get our lettuce wedge but were full anyways so didn’t comment). Atmosphere was welcoming and was a perfect date night. Was it the best steak i’ve had? No, but it was perfectly cooked and came as expected!
Maddie was a fantastic host with a brilliant personality. She could not have done more for us. She was always ahead of the game with drinks and food and kept checking on our allergies to make sure everything was right. She made the whole visit easy and relaxed. Really impressive service. Always enjoy a visit to Miller & Carter. Food is amazing. Chipotle chicken bites to start. 7oz rump steak, beef butter, peppercorn sauce and chunky chips for mains and just managed to squeeze in a mini dessert of profiteroles with coffee.
We booked ahead for Miller & Carter at the Albert Dock (definitely recommended as it was busy) and went as a party of three. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed and greeted really warmly, which set the tone straight away. Despite how busy it was, the service was excellent – attentive without being pushy. Our food order was taken promptly after we were seated, giving us time to settle in without feeling rushed. We all ordered steaks, and each one was cooked exactly as requested – absolutely spot on. The quality was great, and it’s clear the kitchen takes real care. Having visited several Miller & Carter restaurants before, I can honestly say this is one of the better ones. Definitely worth a visit if you’re spending time around the Albert Docks area.
We visited Liverpool last weekend on a sunny day and wanted to seated outside for a meal at Miller & Carter, only to be told that they only serve small plates outdoors. We agreed to seat inside and ordered some of the steaks. The food was delicious as usual but I cannot say the same for the staff who hardly smiled, especially the girl who welcomed us and saw us to our table. Friendly staff makes a difference to our experience and I cannot say that on the day they delivered.
I want to give these guys four stars because they have too much choice on the menu. But the staff were wonderful and the food was great. I loved my T-bone steak and the scallop and chorizo was a great starter Cocktails were good and they even have an option for desert - cocktail and mini desert! Well worth a visit, was very busy on a Tuesday night so recommend booking in advance. The kids steak was so nice and a large serving.
Enjoyed my surf n turf. We had to make a reservation. Yesterday there was no room any more. Many choices. They listened carefully to my request not to use onions (allergic problem). I saw some negative reviews about the quality of the fries. We had fries made from sweet potatoes which tasted very good. service attentive and friendly. Conclusion very good restaurant.
Dined here with my Sister on Friday July 8 2022, we both had rump steak and chunky chips. The steak was amazing, cooked to perfection and the beef dripping sauce I had was to die for, so delicious! The young lady , Jessie, I think her name was was lovely, friendly and very polite!. This was the best meal we have had in ages! Compliments to the chef!
Excellent food, very nice service, lovely restaurant. Nice atmosphere, stylish place in the Docks. Everything was spot on. The steak, the seafood, the veges, all very tasty and cooked just right. Nice idea about the baby gem lettuce with the dressing and blue cheese. What would have absolutely perfected it might have been some walnut crumbs but it was fab anyway.
My husband and I had a delicious Valentines meal here today. The starter, main and dessert were all superb, as was the service. We were looked after by Scott who gave 100% customer service. We would definitely dine here again.
