Len Robinson has occupied these premises with what seems to be decades now! We used to live on Bertram Rd - just 5 min walk away - and this was our go-to shop for anything electrical. Our first refrigerator (July 1977) came from here, as did our most recent washing machine (2022). In between, we bought videos, blenders, heaters, vacuum cleaners - and probably a good many other items I have forgotten about! The ownership of this shop has gone from father to son - and the business is a shining beacon of how an independent High Street electrical shop has survived the onslaught of out of town retail parks and online giants like Amazon. I'm sure the countless vape shops, phone screen repair shops and chicken & chips shops on Green Lane will come and go - but Len Robinson will always be there!
Excellent service, really good knowledge on electricals, purchased a Toshiba Wi-Fi microwave and grill in one, quality item and they beat Ao’s price, superb 5*

Excellent sales team that give you the best advice for your needs not just to get sales. Great after sale service and prompt delivery and installation of products. Smart and polite staff, all the qualities that big chain stores can never replicate, the owner should be proud of his hard work and his team 10/10.
I ordered a cooker online on a Sunday, The Monday morning a lovely guy called me to discuss delivery and installation. We had the cooker delivered to suit me. The two gentlemen were dressed in shirts and tie and trousers and prompt. Polite and professional and fitted the cooker so fast. Explained how to use it and about my warranty. I am so impressed ! I really am. i will be sharing there details with everyone and i will personally drive to this store when ever i need any electrical appliances. 100% recommend and less then a week turn around with wonderful service and support.
