    I came to return an item. The little girl on the counter was chewing gum aggressively & refused my return because it was opened. I told her I'm not returning this under a change-of-mind policy. I’m rejecting it under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 because it’s not fit for purpose due to poor suction. She said " sorry no " it's been opened ! I am taking it to another store and hopefully I'll get my refund. She was called Naheed.

    Every time I’ve been to this Argos it’s been a positive outcome. My order consisted of two items, one was showing up as already collected. The manager (didn’t manage to get her name) was very helpful and always very polite and willing to help.

    First the lady at the till was really not helpful and then when the manager was called he was useless too and very condescending. From the reviews I see online of this store I see it’s common practice for the so called manager to be rude to customers. I definitely think some more customer service training needs to be put into place for the manager on how to deal with people. I would give zero stars but 1 star was unfortunately the minimum.

    I bought a Evo Eclipse Kids 3 Wheel Scooter - Blue. On 25 June 2025 in just 3 week of use 1 trie broken down. When I come back to let them know about the product fault. Because that item is in 1 year manufacturer's warranty. Staff was very rude. Even don't have product knowledge even the common sense. She said rear tire is in manufacturer's warranty but not the front one. Her name is miss SOMAYA. PLZ argos team members give her basic knowledge and customer service ethics.

    Came the other day to buy a product had to wait 12 minutes just for it to come to me no one seemed bothered ut was ready to collect for ages..and they have the decency to say give me a rating staff are rude smile a bit more

    I went to Argos small heath to return an item cos it wasnt working. A white employee called Sam was very rude, unhelpful and unprofessional. He was shouting and screaming at me. I asked to see the manager, he got me his friend called Bailey who was as rude as him. He told me he can't change what his friend said. I left there crying. My friend who was with me took me straight away to another Argos store. They straight refunded me the item. Without any problem. They were very nice and professional. I will never go to the small heath branch again as long as these two workers are there. They need to be sacked.

    Well today I have received a customer service which was shocking, Being a customer service representative is a grant to that person from company to humiliate anyone when he feels to do it . I bought an Hitachi TV 58 inch from stechford store, brought it home and set it up for my family and went out for work, when I came back home after 2hours, my wife complaints about TV that she felt something is not right with TV and I believe her and took it to nearest store straight away after 3 hours of purchase, which was small heath one. Mr yasin to whom I met on counter. Told him all the story. First he unpack the tv put it on one side and turned it on. For him he said I can't find anything wrong with TV, I several times explain that I believe there is a problem and I don't trust this TV so please replace it with a different one and I will pay any difference if you want. But he refuses to take it back. Being a customer if I am not confident about a product I bought is right, first, is it a standard to refuse the customer for returning and forcibly ask the customer to take it. This person called me lair , when I said if you think their is nothing wrong with product and but still I insist please take it back and replace or refund, Assume I changed my mind. He refuseing to accept a return or exchange of a product which was bought just few hours ago. I am so stressed and feel how can the provide such customer services which is againts the customer rights. Then Mr Sam manager of the store, also backing him up, and told me to leave to TV and we will check the TV and if there is any fault with it then we will call you tomorrow and issue a refund. I am so embarrassed and shocked how a company like Argos can keep such employees who are not even 5% of professional. Well I left my products over their made an video of the situation and left the store. I am going to report this to citizens citizens advice bureau and seek their help to highlight this issue with high management of Argos, and hoping if they may take this seriously and look into this matter not just for my refund but also for betterment of Argos customers services. This is totally unacceptable, and definitely not going to buy a single pin from them ever. Also let others know about these unprofessionals so no one else faces the same embarrassing situation.
