Went to buy a new TV the guidance was excellent as was the product knowledge. I was able to purchase the perfect make/model for my needs with a small discount and a few " freebies " which I was able to take away with me. All together i went to the right place ! Great !

I visited the Pontefract store with the intention of purchasing a washer dryer. The store did not have any in stock for immediate takeaway, which is understandable given its size. I then checked a couple more stores online, and again, no stock was available. As a large retailer, one would expect at least one item to be kept in stock and replenished as appropriate. Subsequently, I inquired about delivery times, which were over a week to my home address. This timeframe was unsuitable due to work commitments. I then asked if I could order the item for in-store collection at a more convenient time. I was surprised by the response. The sales advisor informed me that a delivery charge would still be applied even for in-store collection. To clarify, I asked, "Are you confirming that if I order a washer dryer for collection from your store, I will still incur a £25 delivery charge for an item I am purchasing from your establishment?" The answer was affirmative. Consequently, I decided to take my business elsewhere.

Have bought a few things from this branch over the years and the service is good. Although I didn't buy anything today the service I received, advice, help and answering all my questions was beyond professional. Sorry I didn't get your name (Asian young lady ?) Your service was fantastic and friendly

It feels like it's a smaller Currys than some of the others, but otherwise it's like every other Currys. An acceptable but not large selection of products on display. Shop attendants didn't approach me, but we're close and available if I wanted help (I prefer it that way).

Small curry shop, Speaking generally about Currys , now I am Aware, I purchased the last year a Samsung article, was not advice about the short Battery life, try to exchange for some better article and that's not possible, not devolution and and only accept the brand guarantee, after that think twice about buy some articles in Currys PC. Don't Recommend.

Outstanding service, I'd been reading up on Laptop Vs Chromebook online....but actually being able to go in-store and get information and demos of both meant I left with a brand new Chromebook! Not sure if allowed to name names so I won't but the gentleman who helped me is an absolute asset to the team.

The staff at this store are 1) very un-knowledgable and 2) very disrespectful. Firstly, when I was sold the printer the colleague at the same store told me I could get a same day return, if not I could get my money back if I don’t find anything suitable in the store because I purchased an instant replacement on my printer. However, today I went in and first they said it will be sent for a repair despite having an instant replacement (which means same day swap by the way) the colleagues were Steve and Wendy. Matter of fact, I took it in and they didn’t even look at the printer and decided it needed to be sent for a repair??? didn’t even look at my receipt either???? How do these people work here? After looking at the receipt when they knew I had an instant replacement on the product, first thing they didn’t have it in stock and second thing, I didn’t want a HP printer anymore because I decided not to trust HP anymore (brand loyalty is something too) and wanted a full refund as that’s what the instant replacement is for but apparently no refund was available. Complete scam because it’s like I am bound in a contract and a slave to currys just to buy their products? What kind of business is this? I would rather buy from Amazon or elsewhere where I am certain I can get a refund at least? All the colleagues need training because when they’re selling it, they’re saying something else but when you go in because it’s faulty, they completely switch up. The colleagues were so competitive and argumentative and by the way @Currys Colleagues, saying ‘not to be disrespectful’ doesn’t mean you’re not being disrespectful. Very unprofessional behaviour.

The lady working in the Mobile section was the most helpful, knowledgeable and friendly person I have experienced. She was called Joanne and should be commended for her skills and expert knowledge and if anything should be training other members of staff in her expertise. Not only did she help me with a connection problem with my new mobile phone, bust she also served another 5 customers at the same time whilst dealing with me. Joanne should be rewarded in some way for her excellent customer service and patience. Well done Joanne.

Had to return a faulty kettle. The kettle was 2yrs old but i had purchased extra cover at same time, which had only cost me £9 to extend my guarantee to 3 years. The kettle is no longer stocked by Currys, infact the woman serving me said they no longer make that model. As i didn't like any of the kettles they now stock i was given a cash refund (payed into my bank )of £37.99 which is the price of the kettle when i bought it.Also i received the refund within 24 hours. So overall very good customer service from a very good multi-national company.
