Walked in to a nice reception from the staff and got a flat white. It surprisingly had a lovely latte art which is the best I've seen in Birmingham so far, with the coffee tasting just as good as it looks!

Very nice coffee but as a newcomer to the area trying to be friendly, I was very surprised by the coldness of the owners. I've been there about a dozen times to give it a chance but I just gave up in the end. It's almost as though your presence in their shop irritates them. The last time I was there I had just sat down and had not yet ordered and my phone rang and I had to return home urgently. I didn't want to leave without explanation so I said to the guy (I think it's a husband and wife team), "Sorry, I've got to leave but I will be back again later." He just looked at me as though I was from planet Mars and didn't reply. I've not been back.

An awesome local independent coffee shop with their own roaster. Coffee is great and the homemade cakes and treats are delicious. The folks who run Under Pressure are lovely. Iβve joined in a communal Saturday morning crossword a number of times and itβs the perfect weekend morning activity.

Some of the nicest coffee I have ever had, echoed by my partner too, who is a self-proclaimed coffee snob so it must have been good haha! We sat in and there is a pleasant but peaceful vibe in there. I wouldnβt say itβs cosy, but itβs a great place to enjoy a coffee and have a chat / get some work done. The quality of the coffee is unmatched though, and they seemingly roast their own beans? I mean they have a roaster but we forget to ask as we left. Either way, outstanding coffee, worth a visit just for that. A flat white and a black coffee did the trick for us! There is a small cabinet of cakes and treats but we didnβt sample them unfortunately, but they are there if thatβs your thing! The service was lovely too, clearly very knowledgeable guys who love coffee. Effect and chatty, it was a joy to drink here.

I like this little independent, relaxed, inclusive, unpretentious, friendly. A nice change from the big chains where laptops and fancy coffee is the norm. Iβm not a coffee expert so I have my usual americano which is pretty good. The chocolate chip cake thing was nice but needs more flavour, if it was banana I didnβt taste it. Will recommend.

Excellent coffee, excellent service, and excellent cakes. I order their coffee to drink at home but this was my first visit to drink in. Dog friendly. Highly recommended if you like good quality coffee rather than bland high street stuff.

We stopped in at Under Pressure Espresso today. We had a wonderful experience from the time we arrived until the time we left. The coffee was delicious and the staff were so warm, friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Awesome - such a great place to sit and have a coffee. Dropped daughter at theory test centre and needed somewhere to go whilst waiting. Definitely picked the right place. Great service, friendly and so relaxed. Hot chocolate was awesome - so was tea and cakes

Lovely local independent. My oat milk was steamed to perfection (the texture was so perfect I thought they served me cows milk!!) lovely coffee and cakes with quirky flavours (ginger and rhubarb) and great value at Β£2.5 each. A must if youβre in Sutton town centre.

If you really appreciate a 'damn fine cup of coffee' then you need to walk past all the high street chain coffee bars in the main area, and head a few hundred yards up the road to here. Has to be one of the best independents in Brum, serving consistently excellent coffee, in whatever form you wish. Also happen to have a lovely range of locally made cakes on display, at sensible prices.
