I go there on weekends with my family. Tables always dirty, they sometimes give drinks takeaway on weekends and I don't understand why if we drink in. These photos were taken over the weekend.
The staff at this Costa are some of the rudest I’ve ever encountered. In particular the woman with the lower lip piercings. She simply doesn’t want to be here. There is no welcome, please or thank you. They make you feel incredibly unwelcome and god forbid you ask a question to the wrong “station” - “that’s not my job I don’t do food”. Seriously need some customer service training in this busy location.

Yesterday, me and my friends went inside for coffee as it was raining outside. We ordered mocha. I was very excited to taste costa coffee as i heard they do nice coffee but what a disappointment. The worst mocha i ever had.
4 members of staff I thought great Costa isn’t treating them like slaves, but why is the service soo slow? Looking at other comments there seems to be a similar theme. Costa’s Coffee is good not great but what it has going for it is the seating area. I find that the cakes and food are very bland compared with other good independent shops, Costa needs to do better.
Busy so took a long time to get drinks. Also needs a self closing door because some customers seem unable to work out how to shut out the cold.
Staff are lovely and despite getting extremely busy they manage to keep up with orders and the queue goes down quickly. Sometimes the tables can be dirty but they get so busy they don't always get time to clean up. During quieter times they always keep the place clean and tidy.
Friendly staff, Shame my coffee stop was spoilt by the staff cleaning the floors while people are trying to chill. Chairs being scrapped across the floor, not just one, most of them. Left, will strike this costa off my list
Update. Told the madybi was with to pee on the floor as they'd not opened the toilets so they didn't have to clean them. No sandwhiches , no toasties, no cakes, no cold drinks as no ice. Its not gotten any better since the last review below 9 months ago. Ridiculously slow, can't understand English rude and advertise a take out price but can't charge it even if you take out. Probably the worst Costa I've ever been in.
