   Went to quickly have a look what shoes were available after I'd finished work last night, only to find that the store was closed at 5.45pm when it's meant to close at 6pm. Good job I wasn't trading standards isn't it. Didn't surprise me in the slightest as I have been in there previously n been told when I walked in at 5.50pm that they were shut!! To which I replied "yeah you shut at 6pm don't you, I just want a quick look to see what you've got." And whilst I was in the store the doors got shut at about 5 to. I've never found any of the staff to be particularly pleasant mannered in there either to be honest. I have worked in retail for over 20yrs hence I know what's expected in a shop.

   Purchased £30 mens shoes on 24th May 2024. On the 13th October the complete right hand sole came away causing me to trip and damaged my knees. I took the shoes back to burscough shoe zone store expecting an exchange due to a manufacturing fault which the manager agreed with me there was a manufacturing fault but the heal of the shoe showed signs of wear and refused an exchange she refused to give me her name and suggested to say the manager to shoe zone complaints department. I seriously thought I should get more wear out of a £30 pair that last only 18 weeks. I do have photos but can’t find a way to attach them so they are available on request. I was not even complaining about my knee injuries the defected shoes caused Thank you Tom Gregory

   Charlotte and julie could not have been any more helpfull. Boots out of stock they sourced the required boots at another store enabling myself to do a click and collect. They even called the store to double check and make sure they were reserved. Brilliant service thank you both.

   Appalling service in Burscough branch of shoezone. 1st time we visited a staff member ignored us as we waited to be served, until another member of staff came out an apologised for her behaviour. Most recent visit (today 18/05/2021) the same member of staff who ignored us decided this time to follow us around, checked every shoe box my daughter tried on (as she obviously a 9 year thief) , and on the way out the store we heard her say watch them as they've been trying lots of shoes on. Shocking unprofessional, avoid. I recommend some service training for this particular employee.
