Manager (JAKE) is exceptionally rude, unprofessional and very threatening!!! I dined in here this afternoon with my Husband and our 2 young children. We watched an elderly disabled gentleman with a Zimmer Frame collect fish&chips to take away. He struggled to close the box that his food was in so I asked if he'd like me to request some tin foil from the staff to keep his food warm. He said yes please. I asked staff near the kitchen/serving area for some tin foil. The manager, 'Jake' replied "no, we can't give out tin foil. He'll be alright. He takes the food like that any other time". Around 5 minutes later a waitress came to clear our table. I told her how I wasn't impressed that an elderly gentleman had to take his food without it being wrapped up and I commented on the kitchen staff and said that they were "miserable so and so's and could have given him a bit of foil for GodSake". Moments later the manager, Jake aggressively approached my families table where we were dining and was very rude, threatening, hostile and arrogant. He attempted to scare me and intimidate me in front of my Husband and two young, autistic children. Not only did Jake change his story (said he told me they didn't have any tin foil - with such a big kitchen...surely there was an alternative?!) but he also told me to drink up and leave the establishment. He threw me out of Wetherspoons for defending a Veteran who only wanted a sheet of tin foil to keep his dinner warm!!! Other customers approached me on my way off the premises to offer their support and check in with myself and my two very upset young Daughters after they had witnessed management and his abusive behaviour. The staff are rude and the manager is a horrid, unprofessional and very threatening individual with no class. As a customer who uses these premises 3/4 times a week, I shall be avoiding from now on. My two disabled children had to watch on as their mother was shouted at and aggressively confronted by a senior member of staff! Appalling!

My local when I'm In Tamworth. Large open plan with a slightly higher tier to the right (there is a lift). Smart flowered beer garden with separate booths and a separate smoking area. Always a good selection of ales and most of the staff have knowledge of the varieties and the popular ones. Monday food deals are excellent value for money! Toilets upstairs with an accessible one downstairs. Parking close to by. Only thing is to watch out for is the steps into the pub. There is an accessible entrance around the back and through the beer garden, then you will have to use the lift if you have mobility issues. W

My favourite chain to have a lunch when we are away to home. I’m not sure if there is ramp to access, because we didn’t find it. But if you know, you know that you will have value for money in your food, and also is amazing with kids meals. I always look for a Wetherspoon for have a lunch when I’m not at home. Staff friendly even with the busy that they where, I went on St. George Celebration, and the town was full of people specially families that enjoy go out in half term with the kids.

I came here today for breakfast with my sister & her fiancΓ©. Our food came pretty quick and we were eager to dig in because it looked nice, but unfortunately it was cold. We did also have a cappuccino, which you can refill yourself, so that was great... and warm.

Visited for breakfast whilst not busy. Large breakfast was delicious and very good value. Especially like the unlimited tea and coffee offer which at Β£1.25 is unbeatable - even though I only had time for one! Staff were very welcoming. The only thing I would change perhaps is the bacon which was not quite to my liking but I really appreciate that preparing an English breakfast that everyone will fully enjoy is probably impossible! Highly recommended especially if not busy.

Just what the (hangover) Doctor ordered after a heavy night at Bloodstock festival. Friendly staff, decent breakfast and unlimited tea until you are brave enough for a few ridiculously cheap ales. Thursday is curry club, the vindaloo is actually really spicy if that’s your thing

Well, fish and chips and a pint of Leffe because i'm needing a cool drink. The pub was clean and tidy on the inside with plenty of space and a conservatory area up top. orderded food and drinks. Staff were on top with doing the rolls of which they are required. Meals were great, which they are always. would I visit again, sure. Parking is free on Sunday so there's no excuse to not take your friends out in Tamworth.

Nice big typical Wetherspoons, cheap and cheerful. We had a lovely tasty breakfast here can't complain in a nice big spacious pub.
