   Excellent coffee and pastries. The service is always polite and efficient, especially given it is such a tight space inside. The ground coffee to go is also always very good, as is the external seating area- great people watching.

   The best place in York not just to enjoy coffee but to explore coffee. There’s an ever-changing choice of espresso, batch and v60 from roasters around the UK and beyond, perfectly prepared. Everyone’s super friendly and there’s a lovely welcoming unfussy vibe. Also lots of fancy beans for sale from guest roasters like DAK, Fort, Scenery, Harmony, Module, Darkwoods etc. AND great food, though food availability is a bit hit and miss. If you’re at all interested in expanding your coffee horizons or just enjoying a tasty brew, this is THE place in York. I’ve been 40+ times this year and it made me fall back in love with coffee.

   We ordered a Lattee, it's one of the best we've tried so far in York! the staffs were friendly, service is great and overral atmostphere is lovely too. Highly recommended for a cup of coffee or other hot drinks!

   Outstanding experience from start to finish. The welcome was genuine, service was swift, and the coffee was superb—rich flavour, perfect temperature, and silky milk. The café is spotless with a calm, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to linger. After our earlier, underwhelming coffee and service at “Over The Rainbow,” this place completely turned our morning around. A true five-star café and an easy recommendation.

   The flavours in the coffee at Kiosk were unexpected but totally enjoyable. Obviously, not to everyone's taste. One customer returned theirs because they didn't like it, and the guys were understanding and keen to offer an alternative. Many of the best coffee shops are small. So it is here, can easily find the place full with nowhere to sit. However, there were tables outdoors on the pavement. Recommended to me, now I'm recommending to you.    High end coffee in an adorably tiny shop. They offer decaf coffee if you happen to be travelling (like I was) with somebody that prefers decaf and they also offer iced coffees (which sometimes you don't find with more artisanal coffee shops). The iced mocha I had was delicious and clearly high quality. It's on the pricier side when it comes to price for size, so if that bothers you and you're used to more big chain coffee shops, this probably isn't the place for you but definitely for those like me that don't mind paying more for high quality and good service. They also had quite a few baked goods that were genuinely hard for me to decide between. I went with the cinnamon bun and regret absolutely nothing.

   Was visiting York for the first time and came across this coffee shop with amazing smell of coffee from few shops away. It was the best coffee I had, can’t wait to come back again to try their food and coffee. Update. I came back a month after for short film festival and it’s still as good as it was! Highly recommend the coffee here. A lady who stays in York even mention to me this is the best coffee in York ☺️

   This is the best coffee shop I visited in York. The best cappuccino I had all trip and in many months was here. They use amazing beans and it’s a very gourmet style for coffee snobs and regular people alike. It is small but they are nice guys. I went here every day of my trip!

   If you are into specialty coffee this is the place! Best cappuccino I had in York! Its a very small place, so finding a seat might be difficult, so be ready to get your coffee to go! Highly recommend it
