See the update at the end of this original review. We have been coming here since the very beginning. It started with a kiosk while the cafe was being finished. We were extremely impressed by the fabulous coffee and brilliant staff. When Caffe Valeria was opened we knew we had found “our” place! We visit often, both as a couple and some times with friends. The coffee is and the choice of cakes and pastries is excellent. The staff are always smiling and making us feel welcome. All the staff are helpful and kind. We must mention George, Liv and Olly as going above and beyond to make us feel special. Please don’t change a thing. Helen and David Update, George, Liv and Ollie (the stars of Valeria’s) have all left taking its heart with them. We no longer go there. Staff could be better trained, owner unpleasant. We feel we have lost something very special.

would not recommend. nothing warm or friendly about the service at all. the person who i can only assume was the owner had an airpod in the entire time, and spoke very rudely when I asked for my drink to be heated as it was barely lukewarm. to add insult to injury, the "Sicilian Blend Espresso" came out the machine in under 10 seconds, very runny, clearly wrong. fast espresso, slow service! took nearly 15 minutes to get my drink. no wonder it was luke warm. the cake was mushy and almost sour, like it had been out for far too long. Tiny slice for nearly five pounds. I used to run a cafe in my 30s and i am surprised by the poor cleanliness in the staff area. we came here because of the good reviews. clearly a lot has changed since all the five stars because our experience was anything but. wife loves italians so we were eager to give it a try and were very let down. such a shame.

Very good coffee . Lovely scone with jam and cream . Nice Chesterfield sofa . Young waiters need a few days more training . No smiles . No personality . In Italy the waiters bend over backwards to charm you and are very friendly and polite

First time calling. Coffee was fantastic. The cheesecake and the tiramisu light and tasted amazing. Did try to take a photo of the cakes, they just didn’t hang around long enough

We have frequented the original Caffe Valeria in Wheldrake for a number of years and when this new one opened, we were looking forward to visiting! It’s a great addition to the Designer Outlet as there’s now quality coffee to drink!! The cannolis are fabulous and there’s more choice here!! Plenty of seating!

Absolutely fantastic experience at cafe valeria. service from George was polite, informative, and friendly, a real testemant to the business. We had the chocolate and cherry cake and the pistachio cheesecake with a couple of lattes and it was divine. Prepared and presented brilliantly and in a good amount of time. Thank you george! we shall be back. good loyalty scheme also and very comfy chairs to sit in!

I called in here after being in this great shopping outlet with my wife and elderly parents. Whilst we were originally going to have drinks and snacks we opted for drinks only as the snacks didn't look particularly tempting or indeed familiar. The coffees and teas were priced as you would expect, they were very nice and well presented with care gone into the little pictures on the tops of the coffees. The crockery, seats, tables, serving area and seating area appeared spotlessly clean, which is a refreshing change from the usual efforts done by the likes of Costa. The young lady serving was very polite, friendly and patient, even with my elderly parents who both have hearing difficulties. This again was nice and refreshing, as they are usually just spoken to like idiots or treated as though the aren't even there in the mainstream coffee shops. A big thanks to the young lady, my mum and dad did notice your efforts.
