Haven't been here for a few years so decided to go there for lunch today as we were visiting a relative nearby - what a mistake that was. On placing our order we were told they did'nt have any chips. When over 75% their menu includes chips we were a bit limited for choice. Opted for sausage & mash with onion gravy. The menu stated 3 sausages we only had 2 & the onion gravy was gravy with chopped up raw onion! I stated I didn't want peas but my meal came & half the plate was garden peas! Half the beer they normally sell wasn't available. After going for a bottle I had to ask for a glass. The member of staff serving was sour faced & grumpy. No warm welcome or apology for no beer, lack of menu choice or incorrect meal. To top it all the toilets were a disgrace & could do with a good clean to get rid if the mould & dirt & there was no means to dry your hands as the handryer didn't work or hand towels provide. Definitely will not be returning again

We visited the Digby today. 06th August (2025) Our first visit in more years than I care to remember. We were happy to receive a warm welcome, and find that the atmosphere here was lovely and relaxed. The food was hot and delicious, portion sizes were generous and very reasonably priced. Service was excellent, speedy and friendly. Will definitely come back next time we are in Birmingham. Would certainly recommend this place to others

Great food, it's my local , I only live a stone throw away from it and had 2 meals now , scampi and the all day brekki , I went over Saturday night and there was a bit of life in there , compared to my 1st visit. I recommend people who eat out should try the Digby???

The chicken burgers didn't look like much when they arrived... But wow we were wrong, they were so tasty and mouth Watery tender! I'll definitely come here again. Great pub with great food. Portions are bigger than I expected!
