An absolute cracking Yorkshire cafe/bar. Plenty of seating upstairs. We had a couple of brunch dishes, coffee and a couple of cocktails, all perfect. The brunch was so delicious and reasonably priced for the quality we received. Will definitely return for the Yorkshire pudding burger.
Booked our Work's Xmas do here and it did not disappoint. Pre-ordered off the Xmas menu and it was delicious. So much food - catering for all our dietary needs. Head chef Brian and his small team (Callum and Poppy) were so lovely. There was also live music on the night. Will definitely visit again.
Our favourite little hide away, usually for breakfast which is always amazing. Today we decided to do lunch and omg it did not disappoint. I had the Yorkshire pudding burger. Did I finish it all? No. But not for the want of trying. This was the best burger I have ever had and as always the food and venue was just amazing.
What a delightful Sunday lunch! The ambience was wonderfully relaxed, and the service could not have been better. It was the perfect setting to enjoy fantastic food and good company—an excellent bar to relax with friends or alone, and even dog-friendly.
Food was stunning. Dog friendly. Staff were kind and understanding, able to make small changes to the food such as taking bacon of the burger. Yorkshire pudding was amazing.
A fantastic hidden gem that gives a great taste of proper Yorkshire food! The food tasted great and the service was perfect. There is a good selection of delicious food catering to a wide range of different dietary requirements.
Very average food quality, the price should be a bit lower for the quantity and quality offered. Coffee was okay. Service was slow, I felt bad for the poor kid seemed like he was the only one working that day, the place was busy. One thing I liked is that they had vegetarian/vegan options, but thats about it.
The food gets 5 stars; the vegan roast was amazing with beautiful, thick mash potato and vegan yorkshire puddings too. Everything else 4 stars; it was very warm with no air ventilation (open windows, fans etc), so quite stuffy when eating and the staff were lovely and friendly but could've been more attentive during our visit. We'd definitely go back and would recommend.
We came in at lunch time and despite the place being really busy, the service was amazing from Callum and the team. I ordered the steak and gravy sandwich which was 10/10! Great coffee and cake too. We're coming back on Sunday to try the Sunday roast!
Great layed back bar and cafe, great music choices and the food is fantastic. Staff are welcoming and go above and beyond to help make choices and make you feel settled. They have a great selection of beers and Ales at very Affordable prices. Great spot for getting some work done alone or taking a group and having a chilled evening. hidden gem definitely worth visiting.
