Underwhelming, main menu off by 2pm. Resorted to a prawn salad sandwich from the classics - shop bought bread and iceberg lettuce (delivery arrived in front of us).

We had the fish tower. Excellent sandwiches, good service. We had a brass band playing behind us too. Lovely atmosphere at Christmas time

Me and my wife were looking forward to a nice lunch here, based on the high prices advertised. However, before the food even arrived we were greeted with an unappealing smell of grease, and tacky decor. The sandwiches looked carelessly thrown together and sloppy, not to mention the stale taste. You could get a better sandwich in a tescos meal deal. Staff were nice, but owner clearly needs to have a good look at the food quality and the shop. Profit seems to come before customers here. Lots of better options in Hebden Bridge, bit of a tourist trap.

I got the vegan meatball sandwich here - a bit disappointed with the size, and how dry the bread and meatballs were. Also it took a strangely long time to get made! But the flavour was decent and the location of the cafe is good

One of my favourite places to eat in Hebden. The prices are affordable and the food is incredible, I always suggest this place when asked. If you're a fan of toasties, loaded fries, and chai lattes this is the place for you (no, seriously, their chai latte is my favourite). I last went in February and whilst inside a torrential rain picked up, the staff were laughing along with us as we joked we'd just have to stay inside forever. Lovely environment and friendly staff makes Hebden Sarnies a wonderful place to dine. Can't wait till I'm back.

Had a delicious sandwich from here, the "Yorkshire Gangster", enjoyed every mouthful! Great place with good atmosphere for a nice lunch in Hebden. Owner James is really friendly and had great chat with him. Will defiantly come back next time I'm in the area!

Expensive for a good, standard sandwich. Coffee very poor. My oat flat white wasn't oat milk, nor a flat white. Just black coffee, with a bit poured in followed by a spoonful of very miserably foamed milk on top. 'Meatball' sub was nice, hot and toasted well. Very tasty! Yorkshire gangster had promises of being warm (toast marks on bread) but arrived like it came straight from the fridge. And had a pour of some crisps on the side. Young staff need training on how to welcome customers and generally work in hospitality - a bit cold, like the Yorkshire Gangster. Not their fault, they just need trained up. One experienced waiter or waitress to lead the team would go a long way.

One of the newer cafes in town, Hebden Sarnies has been a welcome addition to the local cafe options. They do the best breakfasts - both meat and vegetarian options taste great, and the breakfast muffins are awesome! The coffee is good and the staff are friendly too. You can sit outside and watch people passing, it's an excellent location. Only four stars because orders can sometimes take a long time to arrive - if I could give 4½ stars, I would. A great place to eat and drink, definitely worth a visit.

An excellent cafe. We loved our deep filled sandwich and salad with an assortment of prawns. A great eating spot.
