   My first time coming here as for some reason I've always thought it's probably quite unpleasant inside. I'm annoyed with myself as I've just had a lovely burger and experienced exceptional service for a pub, really friendly staff made me feel really welcome. Very clean and tidy too, thank you for a pleasant lunch.

   Very poor service. We waited 45mins for food which is simply unacceptable and the manager SHOULD HAVE come over to apologise and offer complimentary items. We will not be retuning or recommending. Additinally, there is no air con or air flow. The tables, menus and carpet are all sticky. Loud music during dinner time which made it impossible to hear and talk. We made a complaint to the waiter and he managed to turn the music down and said the delays were due to how busy it was. There were around 10 tables dining in on Thursday evening. The food was not served how it was promised. The stake was not served on a grill, on a bed of onions...it came with frozen peas, a half cooked tomato, and overcooked chips on a normal serving plate. Spent over £70 for a terrible service and food. We should have asked for a refund but didn't want to wait 20mins at the till to speak to someone.

   The pub that I regularly visited in weekends with my family has changed a lot, We ordered Sunday roast we waited 90 minutes, I asked for a refund due to the long waiting time (there were not many customers) I was refused a refund. The dish I ordered was not impressive mash potato was instant. gravy sauce also beef was rubbery which shows it was not fresh. I noticed that the entire staff consisted of two people who served customers at the bar, cleared tables and cooked in the kitchen just to keep the business running. I don't know who managing this business, but you are causing this pub to close, I and my family will definitely not be going there again. I have no problem with the staff they were nice but there are definitely too few of them, we do not recommend

   Pub food was nice. Place was clean. My only complaint was our drinks took 30 minutes to arrive on our table. Then I had to ask for our drinks. Apart from that, everything was fine.

   Food was good.. I gave a 3 because the long wait for the meal we had our starters in a flash thou.. the coffee we ordered was horrible it’s as if they couldn’t afford the coffee and and my partner was afraid to say as he said he Dnt want nothing done to his food (maybe if the staff get upset).

   We asked for the starter to arrive with the 2 mains, it didn't, but they were lovey. My Hunters chicken was lovely too, the mixed grill was ok but no pepper sauce, after asking another twice, it still didn't arrive so most of the meal was cold cos of waiting for the pepper sauce! Gave up and finished the meal, a sorry, or a reason why would have been appreciated! But NO.

   Went to eat with a few friends and was pleasantly surprised. I used to frequent this place many moons ago and it was so lovely to go back and to cap it all off the food smashing. I ordered the steak fondue to share and still couldn't get through it all. Will definitely be back.
