   We stayed for a wedding and had a great time, bed was very comfy water pressure was great room was bigger than expected and very comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful- breakfast was adequate no frills but nice. Only suggestion was we had a lactose intolerant friend and there was no milk alternative. Otherwise great stay

   Staff good. Food OK, room maintenance & housekeeping poor. Shower blocked, toilet seat broken off hinge, curating bracket dangling off wall, ceiling lights not working, room not made up over 2 night stay. We asked to speak to a manager to give them an opportunity to respond but none were available.

   Stayed here due to its proximity to the hill climb circuit. No food served Friday night, so we ate elsewhere. Breakfast good, though. No issues with our room. The bar's digital detox is a good thing!

   Visited the Harewood Arms Hotel for a drink with a friend. It’s exactly what you’d expect from a Sam Smith’s pub — traditional, quiet, and full of old-school charm. The building is lovely, the pub is well-kept, and the beer is good value as always. The only thing that stood out was the feeling of being closely watched. It’s not unfriendly, but you’re very aware that any minor slip-up or rule break will be spotted instantly, which can feel a bit unnerving. Still, it’s a nice, classic place for a steady pint in a calm setting — just with a slightly over-observant atmosphere.

   After a long hike in the rain me and my partner stopped for a bite to eat and a drink at this quaint little pub. The staff were lovely and dried our coats by the fire while we got some delicious food. For anyone looking for a digital detox and some great conversation be sure to pop in if you’re in the area.

   Sunday lunch after a walk was both tasty and well presented.The service was good and the staff pleasant and friendly. Would have given it 5 stars if we could have used our phones to take photos.

   Decided to visit this place for lunch while we were staying in the area. Staff seemed cold and unfriendly and just seemed somewhat rude to start with. No baby changing facility and a blunt 'NO' when asked if there was any. Warning, there are no electronic devices allowed in the property and they made sure you are aware of it! Felt pretty lifeless inside but maybe it was because it was a quiet period during the day. Food was OK though, real shame as this place and location could be much better.

   Went in with our 10 month old after a walk. Finished our drinks and we needed to change his nappy. Told by staff no facilities to do this and -in an attempt to be lighthearted -that “the building wasn’t designed with baby changing facilities in mind” I’m sure it wasn’t designed with installing cctv to spy on any customers who might use their phone in mind- but you seemed to cope with this. It’s not hard to attach a changing table to a wall. Wanted to go here for a while. Won’t be back.
